Monthly blog update reports.
This month’s State Of The Blog is going to be very lightweight stuff. Little done in regards to background updates aside from a couple fixes here and there, which is what we can expect going forward until I can get around to reworking those video commentaries, which can be a tall order in and of themselves. The video review output is going to be reduced starting this month and there’s a couple major projects on the horizon.
Other than that, there are holes to fill and not much else.
Hello and welcome to a rare evening edition of the monthly State Of The Blog for reasons that involve wanting to finalize stuff before making it public. Dates are set in stone, review subjects are not… save for a couple… and also gimmick tables are largely up in the air until further notice… or not… who knows? Who cares?
Anyway, Star Trek turns 60 this month… so naturally, let’s not talk about Star Trek and instead talk about other things that are not Star Trek… and no, we’re not pivoting to Star Wars. (Though make no mistake, we’re doing some of that eventually… the backlog on that front is certainly building up.)
Anyway, quite a bit of progress after the break…
Happy August, everyone. Once again, we’re doing the lightweight thing as far as new videos are concerned, but as far as the backlog is concerned, there’s been quite a bit of heavy lifting on that front. More after the break…
First off, a belated Happy Canada Day to my fellow Canadians, as well as a tolerable Fourth Of July to our neighbors down south.
Now that we have that out of the way, the notes for this month, which basically amounts to a lightweight video schedule for the next couple months and nothing of real consequence. In regards to one particular piece of news that hit recently… yeah, I have thoughts and there’s a very good chance you’re not going to like what I have to say on the matter, but I’m saving those thoughts for later down the road.
First month of June… summer is around the corner and that means… nothing in particular. No wrestling posts and a tepid collection of video reviews before we end the month on a blue blur.
The week of June 27th to July 4th will be devoid of video content or anything remotely relevant, but it won’t be devoid of content period, as I’ll be posting a new Flash Fiction entry every day… by which I mean, this stuff was done months ago and will be published on a daily basis from the 27th to the 3rd. No content on the 4th of July because fuck our neighbors in the south for that week in particular before we go back to loving them again… or however we’re supposed to feel by the time that rolls around.

Yes, it’s another State Of The Blog in March… and if you want to count that mid-March update that used to be a State Of The Blog, but has since been downgraded, that would make it THREE for March. That’s done, though.
Welp, it’s March… stuff happens on March, doesn’t it?
How has your 2026 been so far? Mine has been… a thing that happened.
If you’re expecting much in the way of actual content… well, there’re video reviews, Nitro musings, and maybe a couple other things. This past month has (mostly) been dedicated to some minor tweaks and fixed in the background that have been LONG overdue and with most of that (almost) out of the way, I can start on prepping some new material for the future.
Further details after the break, but TLDR version for you folks in a hurry; expect more stuff to come along in March.

For those who are TLDR people, reviews resume on Monday, January 19th with Review #1271 (game unknown) and Nitro musings will continue their Thursday run. And other minor fixes as well.
