Happy April 31st, everyone. Or something…
VIDEO SCHEDULE AND UPDATES
Tomorrow’s the Rock’s birthday, you stupid son of a bitch. No Wily Challenge, but something else instead. (It’s fun, I promise.) Meanwhile, Shanoa gets kicked to the curb later tonight, a bunch of Disney Afternoon favorites from the NES day get the last week to themselves, and a bunch of empty spots left to be filled by stragglers and never-weres while June gets the meat of the litter. (Good stuff in June to make up for the dregs in May, I promise.) No live show this month, but three Gimmick Tables are kinda nice.

WRESTLING MUSINGS (kinda) UPDATE
Nitro musings continue until the end of the month, which is when Scott Hall makes his formal debut on the show and kick off the angle that would change WCW’s fortunes forever. It is also the debut of the two-hour editions of Nitro, which has been the intended cut off point of these musings. I’m not going to tease you with whether these keep going; once Scott Hall hits, the ride is over for me. If we do more of these Nitro musings, it’ll be every so often rather following a rigid schedule.
Right now, the current plan is to do Dynamite musings until Double Or Nothing, which might be covered at some point, but not immediately. It’s entirely possible that June undergoes a wrestling moratorium similar to the one I had a few years back, which isn’t that big of a stretch all things considered. Also, I did not watch Wrestlemania, nor do I have any plans on doing so. WWE, at this very moment, isn’t worth my time and I’ve got plenty of other options to check out in the meantime.
Maple Leaf Pro on TSN in July? We’ll see.
In the meantime, if you fancy a little fantasy booking of sorts – with heavy emphasis on the word fantasy – I’ve been in the process of restoring some of the old videos feature simulated matches in various wrestling video games. Most of which have been around for ever, while others have been freshly uploaded to Youtube to replace the old, dilapidated Dailymotion embeds. It almost makes me want to fire up the old games and do some more of these in the future… kinda, sorta, not making any promises that I’m not keeping, but just throwing an idea out.
You can find the Wrestling Game Matches under the Videos tab. There are still holes left to fill in the blanks, but for the most part, it’s been good progress.
OTHER NOTES
Some background works to report; the DTM-Cast now has a proper index page where you can scan through a page and pick an episode. It’s a basic format – a bunch of episode numbers grouped by year and no descriptions. But I don’t think anyone is going to dig too deep into these things, so I think we’re fine.
For what it’s worth, I’ve resumed work on the review re-edits. Those should be going up sooner or later. Not sure if I’m working backwards or forwards. We’ll see.
Anyhoo… that’s it. I’m done. Later.
