Hello and welcome to a rare evening edition of the monthly State Of The Blog for reasons that involve wanting to finalize stuff before making it public. Dates are set in stone, review subjects are not… save for a couple… and also gimmick tables are largely up in the air until further notice… or not… who knows? Who cares?
Anyway, Star Trek turns 60 this month… so naturally, let’s not talk about Star Trek and instead talk about other things that are not Star Trek… and no, we’re not pivoting to Star Wars. (Though make no mistake, we’re doing some of that eventually… the backlog on that front is certainly building up.)
Anyway, quite a bit of progress after the break…
VIDEO SCHEDULE
So in terms of the review output, what comes up is what comes up, with the only known video review set in stone being the ReCore video in a couple weeks. Once the schedule’s holes are filled with tangible titles, they’ll be filled here, but I’m saving most of the “big” stuff for October, which means random knick-nacks here and there.
However, the four-day weekend stretch of September 11th to 14th will be a big one since it will not only include the ReCore review on Sunday, but it will also feature the “long-awaited” Video Of Bad News that will address things.

WRESTLING MUSINGS
We’re continuing along our Bound For Glory musings this month. Haven’t watched All In as of yet, although I’ve heard good things… did Meltzer give the main event ten stars or more yet?
DAILYMOTION TRANSFER PROGRESS
With regards to the transferring of vintage Dailymotion material to the Extra Bits channels, I’m pleased to say that things have been progressing rather smooth. A good majority of the Dailymotion-exclusive VLOGs and Updates (which have been consolidated together into one category)
(Some videos have been set to private. I’ve been setting these things up to go public every Thursday. This is the trade off. No one is actively looking back in the blog archives, but the old shit can get some visibility so that people can make fun of them.)
Sadly, there are a couple casualties. The one Superman Is A Dick video that used clips from the old Lois & Clark show is likely gone; no need to tempt fate with that one. The assembled Ericmansuper video (where I took his 3-part Indiana Jones review and made it one) is probably not making the cut and possibly neither is the 1Up Gamer’s Back To The Futer bootleg edition edit… don’t worry if none of these things ring a bell. Nobody watched these in the first place since they were on Dailymotion.
OTHER VINTAGE RESTORATIONS
In the process of restoring all that missing material, I also found a bunch of webpages and quick blurbs that I’ve been diligently restoring here and there. Some of these are nothing burgers – mostly quick thoughts on movies I’ve seen recently or games I’ve played lately. Nothing out of the ordinary in this regard, I don’t think. Mostly odds and ends that nobody would care about, but it’s there for the sake of completionists and anyone willing to dig deep into the archives, which may or may not come to fruition one of these days.
September will likely be the last month that sees significant updates in regards to vintage material restoration or retooling. After that, I’m likely going to focus on pushing the current stuff forward as well as prep some material for next year. Truth be told, there’s a lot of prepping that should be done right about now.
