Just casual play sessions of various games. Purely for demonstrative purposes, this is not a skillz showcase or anything like that; I post up random bits for people to admire or ridicule.
It’s the Rock’s birthday, you stupid son of a bitch. So, today, we’re playing Rockman Maker, yo.
Actually, I was just testing some levels that I was putting together, including an updated version of a previously posted level. Here’s a sampler of what’s to (maybe) come soon.
Weekly Extra Bits videos return today with some B-Roll DVD footage of some Magic Jewelry gameplay featured in yesterday’s review, but without that annoying guy talking.
A change of pace, if you will. Some vintage gameplay of Galaga on Atari 7800 that was recorded about a decade ago. Nothing fancy, but it’s a nice run regardless, so I figured why not.
People tell me they want FUCKING RAW gameplay footage of stuff I review… well, here’s some sample footage – posted as is – of a 2600 homebrew game that I sampled recently… and paid money for… and it’s based on… Flappy Birds…
And I thought this sort of thing being on Vectrex was bad…
Review coming on Friday… may it be more enjoyable to you than it was me…
Recently did some cleaning and found this MSI Mega Man 2 Plug-N-Play unit that was featured on the main channel years ago; one of the early Sunday Gimmick Table entries. Amazingly, it had batteries still and I gave it a go. Spoiler alert: it does not end well because the stick does not play well. But I went far enough that you can notice some graphical glitches towards the end as a result of whatever hackery was done. Maybe some day, I’ll give this another shot.
This is a DVD Rip, so some frames are missing… and yes, it’s not a good run… because the thing you play it on isn’t very good, but it does work… with the same batteries that I plugged in years ago.
For those interested, one of the early Sunday Gimmick Table videos featured this piece of business. You can check it out by clicking here.
