Wily Challenge 2026-04-18 (except, again, not really)

Previously streamed on the Artificial Idiocy livestream, the second of two Wily Challenges streamed on that show; the first was posted onto Extra Bits last week. Next week, however, something new and fresh… by which I mean, newly recorded material specifically for the channel. Unsure as to whether I’ll be doing further commentary, but we’ll see.

Mega Man Maker Level 580158 – DTM36 – Death Beams Of Quick Death

Yes, it’s a Quickman-esque “dodge the death beams of death” inspired level. How original. It gets somewhat sketchy towards the end and there’s a couple fights to boot. If only the video output held up a little better, but it’s better than nothing (no pun intended.)

A remixed Woodman-style level with Needleman needle gimmicks peppered throughout. Not terribly exciting, but at least this one has checkpoints. Also uploaded before the update to 1.9, which looks very exciting to dive into before all the bugs and crash reports pop up. In any case, enjoy.

In other blog-related news, today’s scheduled review (#1100!) on Tron: Solar Sailer (groan) has been pushed back to tomorrow since there’s stuff I want to keep working on there. But don’t expect the greatest gameplay because this game (spoilers) isn’t very good.
