Fun With The Sonic Generation Demo (2013-06-30)

It doesn’t look optimal, good, or anything resembling “high definition” in any real sense, but it looks good enough for my needs and I’ve always preferred to produce videos quickly and not tax the system for any real HD-quality stuff that ultimately means nothing.

That being said, I’m looking into ways to improve the quality of video somewhat to make sure that when I do older games, it looks about as good as what I’d get from DVD rips or something. Here’s hoping.

Expect another DM-based vid tomorrow as well as a separate vid for the YT crowd.

First Castlevania Run On FC Twin (with commentary) from 2009!

This one is truly culled from the archives; an unreleased experimental attempt at providing commentary for the first playthrough of that DVD archive, Castlevania on the first FC Twin model that was eventually returned and traded for the one I still have today.

Castlevania II: Captain Obvious Edition (ROM Hack Preview 3)

A sampler of some NES hack thing I’m putting together… available when it’s ready.

In the past, there were three types of hints. Obscure clues, false clues, and gibberish.

Now, there’s three types of people; folks who are willing to help, folks who will state obvious things you should know, and folks that hate your guts.

Welcome to Castlevania II: The Captain Obvious Edition, an NES hack that rewrites every single piece of dialogue in the game (and then some), designed to help you go in the right direction. Unfortunately, some innocent souls are a little annoyed by the constant bitching and complaining of various players that have transpired over the years, and will not hesitate in letting you know their true feelings. There’s a couple other changes here and there as well…

All of this is coming sooner or later… it all depends and stuff…
