AEW Dynamite (April 29th, 2026) – Better Maintained Road To Double Or Nothing
There was a part of me that wanted to hold this musings off until Saturday. See, because Saturday is May 2nd, which is the Rock’s birthday, you stupid son of a bitch… so let’s celebrate by talking about an AEW show. Obviously, we’re not doing that… but I’ll probably play the Fight Forever game on Saturday instead… or do a quick match there. I don’t know…
Anyway, we’re continuing the Road To Double Or Nothing, which is nowhere near as poorly maintained as the Road To Wrestlemania was. Hey, if nothing else, these Dynamite shows have been entertaining enough to warrant continuing these musings for the short term, which will probably last until Double Or Nothing. Last night’s show wasn’t a big show, by any means, but still a fun one.

One Last Snippet Before The Bomb Drops

There’s a context that’s missing. It doesn’t contribute to the overall review by any means… but goddammit, it’s a bit that amuses me. And in regards to a game that had none of that, I need to find my amusement out of the little moments.
Going through a couple rendering processes, fixing a couple things, making sure nothing goes through without a hitch, but most of all, making sure that when all is said and done, I’m uploading this fucker without incident. It’s a long video and one that has been tough to put together… but at the same time, I had a blast putting this together even if some folks decide that this isn’t to their liking. That’s okay.
Review #1312 – Castlevania: Order Of Ecclesia (DS) goes live at 7 p.m. EST.
My flame shield is at maximum.
Review #1311 – Millipede (Atari 2600)
The sequel to Centipede… same great taste, now with dreadful gray backdrop. Sweet.
Shanoa’s next.
WCW Monday Nitro (April 29th, 1996) – Gigantic Triumphs And Brawling Brits
Another week, another episode of WCW Monday Nitro… this one is available on the WCW Youtube channel and has been since last year. And it’s a pretty significant episode in some ways.

In Which I’ve Got Nothing Better To Talk About Today, So…
Another preview of Boom Studios’ upcoming MMPR reboot/sequel/whatever thing that’s coming out in a few months… one that mentions a specific character that only got one appearance, but nice to know that character hasn’t been completely forgotten. Keeping an open mind on this one.
Those costumes still look like ass, though. And that’s the bottom line.
Review #1310 – Centipede (Atari 2600)
Knocking off the 2600 Centi/Millipede combo pack this week before giving Shanoa some semblance of business that’s as close to general admission as anyone is going to get… and any dirty thoughts that might have popped up are of your own doing, so shut up.
A Preview For Friday
Ready the pitchforks with a preview of Friday’s review.
And if I may say, it’s a (needlessly) big one.
The Annual Post-Wrestlemania Bloodletting
Alba Fyre, one of Chelsea Green’s Slaygents or whatever they’re called, is gone. RIP Alba Fyre. Welcome back, Kay Lee Rey.
The entire Wyatt Sicks faction (Bo Dallas, Joe Gacy, Nikki Cross, Dexter Lumis, and some other dude) got cut. A group of folks that got a strong introduction that was certainly memorable if nothing else, only to fizzle out because nobody had any clue on what to do with them. Kind of sad that their last big program was over a lantern against the Bloodline B-Team. Could you have done more with them? I don’t know… maybe… I get wanting to continue the legacy and creative drive of the late Bray Wyatt, but it rings hollow when all you have is a spooky entrance and not much substance. This is something that just doesn’t fit in the wrestling landscape because nobody would have any clue on what to do with it.
Aleister Black and Zelina Vega are also gone. Aleister Black, who returned to WWE after a stint in AEW, no doubt figured that he’d be better off except not really. Closest was a couple cursory involvements with Sami Zayn and Randy Orton before TKO decided that PAT MCAFEE can save Wrestlemania. (Spoiler: He didn’t.) I hope TK is forgiving… or maybe TNA has a spot open for Lucius Black or something. As for Thea… well, there’s always Twitch.
KAIRI seems to be the big surprise here, as she was a pivotal piece in the ASUKA/IYO SKY feud and without that element, what do you have left for these two to fight over? Also gone are the Motor City Machine Guns, Santos Escobar, Apollo Crew, and some NXT guys and gals whose names I don’t recall.
Wish these folks all the best in their future endeavors.
Wily Challenge 2026-04-25 (for real)
Your eyes do not deceive you – it’s a brand-new Wily Challenge run for the first time in over five years!
Also, your ears do not deceive you – that’s my rambly voice over the game audio… which I’m hopeful is better adjusted than the first time around.
