Another week has passed by. Hope everyone had a good Fourth of July or Canada Day this past week. I want to open this up with some PR fanfiction notes and thoughts.
I don’t know when exactly during the day I’m posting this, but either the Weapon’s epilogue is posted or is going to be posted. Shortly after that, I’m working on the one-shot.
A couple of weeks ago, I mentioned the next project called “Arc of Immortality,” which involves the Tommy clone. The title is tentative and story ideas are mixed right now. I plan on writing the first chapter as soon as I have something concrete. (That being said, it won’t be anytime soon, because summer is not exactly a good platform for good ideas.)
Speaking of which, another proposed idea floating around my head is a episode adaptation of “Countdown To Destruction”. Some of you may be familiar with a “novel” version that can be read on Rangerboard.Com, written by a guy who goes by the name “Devious One”, but my version is totally independent of that. I suppose if I were writing this as a novel, it would be a duology or trilogy. My version of CTD is actually going to be longer and will feature lots of back story. Translation to all that bullshit: it will take me four or five of my usual chapters to actually begin writing the events of the episodes. Still this is just an idea floating around and I may or may not go along with it.
When I get a chance, I will probably do a new version of Power Rangers Beginnings. Not a rewrite, mind you, because I find there’s nothing wrong with this one, but rather an extended version. There are pieces of the story that I would really like to flesh out, such as the intro.
So after the firing of Roddy Piper and the departure of Hulk Hogan, you’ve got to wonder who’s next on the list of big-names to get pissed off or piss off someone higher up. Hey, if this is what it takes to purge the ex-WWF of the old fogies, then I’m all for it. Hopefully, HHH will spill out something about him taking anabolic steroids so he’ll get fired too… but I doubt that would happen, with him and Stephanie tying the knot sometime soon…
Goldberg might be next you know… anyone who has read the reports on the internet must know about Goldberg’s apparent frustration of the direction of his character and the fact that he was called a disappointment by Linda McMahon. Could he be next to leave? I sure fucking hope so…
