Review #1321 – Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back (Game Boy)

For anyone who cares about such things, there’s a new Star Wars movie coming out today. The first one since the last one whose name I don’t recall. Anyway, we may as well do something Star Warsy because… sure, why not?

But yeah, it’s the other Star Wars on Game Boy that’s based on the other Star Wars on NES… not counting the Star Wars that’s only available in Japan for the Family Computer.

And then, I have to remind myself that Game Boy did get a Return Of The Jedi game… that’s based on the Super Nintendo version.

The Force Is Fubar.

Review #1307 – Balloon Kid (Game Boy)

The fundamental reality dawning upon you that a game that was thought to have been previously covered on this here web zone turns out to not have been covered is a frightening thing. Indeed, I had long thought that Balloon Kid had received the review treatment, but as it turns out, it has not.

Review #1306 – Gradius: The Interstellar Assault (Game Boy)

The sequel to Nemesis on Game Boy deploys an interstellar assault on the senses that can only happen on Game Boy… and also Nintendo Switch, apparently.

I had concerned going the NSO route because the game is on there, but decided to go old-school instead. And yes, the game’s also on Game Boy Color on one of the Konami GB Collections… it’s still Game Boy, though.
