September 15th, 1995 would be the day when Eric Bischoff called Steve Austin to tell him know that he was being fired from WCW. Austin, who had been nursing a tricep injury suffered during a recent tour in Japan, would subsequently make a brief stop at ECW before eventually signing with the World Wrestling Federation. Not sure what happened to that guy, but I’m sure he did okay.
