The other day I got a message from the Youtube page… asking me when the next chapter of Reading Sonichu is happening. I haven’t touched that thing in over a decade.
For those who don’t know, Sonichu is a rather infamous piece of fanfiction comic created by someone who has a bit of a notorious reputation online. And when I did this Sonichu reading project a decade back, the idea was to do a couple issues before dropping off. I had some idea as to the reputation, but the deeper I dig into this stuff, the more offsetting it came across.
I posted the first two issues back in the day. I partially started recording the reading for the next issue before – and stop me if you heard this one before – I lost interest and moved on to something else.
Apparently, doing video commentaries on strange video review videos of questionable quality for a lark is more fun and less disturbing than anything involving Sonichu and the CWC person.
Still, every so often, I get asked… when’s the next one?
There isn’t a next one.
There will never be a next one.
Stop asking me.
It’s never gonna happen.
No chance.
