A video from My Life In Game showcasing the Wii Shop and offering some suggestions on what to buy before the shop closes in 2019 and before Wii points become unattainable in a week or so.

The Has Been – A digital series by Amy Jo Johnson
A teaser for a proposed digital series about an aging actress whose best days are behind her and is left with endless debts. The more this video is shared, the more likely this will get funding. I don’t know how exactly that works, but the series premise shows promise and I wouldn’t mind watching something like this on a regular basis.
But only if there’s a spin-off starring JDF.
Oh… Speaking Of Which
Because we needed to give Street Fighter some (more) love, I guess…
Capcom will be releasing a Street Fighter 30th Anniversary collection of most of the 2D Street Fighters for a total of twelve games. This includes the original Street Fighter game, the first five iterations of Street Fighter II (Original, Champion Edition, Hyper Fighting, Super SF2, and Super Turbo), the three Street Fighter Alpha games (but no Alpha 2 Gold or Alpha 3 Upper – unless those are “hidden” games), and all three iterations of Street Fighter III (New Generation, Second Impact, and Third Strike).
Despite whatever half-hearted pot-shots that I might toss towards the series’ current direction, this is actually not a bad deal. Would’ve been nice if they had included something like HD Remix (though I could understand why they wouldn’t; it might take away from the specialness of Ultra SF2) or maybe a version of Street Fighter I that isn’t total shit, but this isn’t too bad, either. And four of the games even have online play for those who care for that sort of thing.
Expect fists to fly in May.
Capcom Learns How To Count To Eleven With Mega Man
Well, what do you know? They actually did it.
Ramble video coming very soon…
WWE Champion AJ Styles
Now Survivor Series has a worthwhile main event…
Unless AJ drops the title back to Jindermahinder next week.
WWE 2K18 Coming To Nintendo Switch
Now this is good news. WWE 2K18 will not only be brought over to the usual suspects of Playstation 4, Xbox One, and PC, but it will also be gracing Nintendo Switch this fall. Reportedly, it was retain all the new features of the latest edition despite the lower specs of the Switch; among them matches with up to eight Superstars at a time… took ’em over a damn decade, but they finally managed to get TWO more people on screen. I’m amazed by their great accomplishment here.
Now, details on the new edition of the game itself can be found elsewhere; I’m not going to dwell on that too much, but in either case, this is good news for Switch owners who have been clamoring for more third-party support that isn’t just indy titles. And… say what you will about the WWE games; they may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but when you consider that the last WWE video game to grace a Nintendo console was WWE ’13 on the Wii – not one WWE game ever graced the Wii U throughout that system’s life span – seeing one on the Switch has to be a nugget of encouragement.
Now, all that being said… when is Donkey Kong making an appearance? We’re not that far off after the ridiculous PPV name.
Arizona Man Tried To Kill JDF At A Con

Also, there’s a video of JDF speaking on the incident.
That’s just sad.
Look, I’m never going to be a card carrying member of the JDF Fan Club given the guy’s antics, but for someone to go that far is just too much. Glad to see that he’s okay and things didn’t go farther than they did.
JInderMahinder In The Legislature Of Alberta
When a World title win in a pre-determined fictional sport earns you a congratulations in an Alberta legislature and even manages a DontHinderJinder in the official transcript, you know you’re on to something.
Go Go Pee In That Cup (The Power Rangers 2017 Trailer)
Yeah, so I’m holding off restarting YouTube stuff until Friday. That way, I only have to worry about a “quick” DTM Rambles video and a pick-up video before starting reviews in February again.
Instead of a video for today, here’s the new trailer for that upcoming Power Rangers movie due in March. Where we get to see the suits in action for a brief instance… and they look okay. Nothing more, nothing less.
This looks somewhat promising, which is surprising to me considering how lukewarm I was to the idea initially. This has upgraded those feelings to somewhat cautiously optimistic. I may very well see this in the cinema – might as well since I saw the other two flicks and may as well keep that tradition going. If nothing else, the cup gag earned a chuckle, so that has to be worth something.
Power Rangers is due March 23.
Double Dragon IV… and it looks awful.
A couple thoughts, actually…
1) Very smart idea to call this Double Dragon IV… so we could try and forget about the Double Dragon V game that was released in 1994. That was the subpar fighting game based on the subpar animated series for anyone who is wondering… I have a review on said game that I did a few years back. Also, if this is Double Dragon IV then where does that leave Super Double Dragon?
2) Goddamn does this look shit. I mean, I get what they’re trying to go for here with the whole 8-bit throwback style that’s been beaten to death over the years, but this looks like somebody stuck ancient NES sprites onto ill-fitting backgrounds, much like a lot of older fangames made in Multimedia Fusion way back when. This feels like amateur hour.
