Posting this a day in advance because the planned video for today has been postponed… story of my life, I guess. However, things should progress normally afterwards.

Last month had some difficulties on the real world side of things that forced some reshuffling on the fake world side of things, but seems like we’ll be somewhat on track for this month.

Closing Up Shop…

Bit of sad news around my neck of the woods, as the game merchant at the local swap meet will closing up shop after decades in business.

I hadn’t known about this until a chance trip yesterday. It’s been a while since I’ve been there due to other things coming up and when I got there, I noticed the area was considerably cleaner than before. Did the guy get robbed or something? But it turns out that he’s wrapping it up and… well, he had a big sale. Obviously missed out on some good stuff, but hey, I’ve got some stuff at least.

Obviously, I wished him all the best in whatever he decides to do next. I’m going to miss the occasional visits, just shooting the breeze, talking about our pets, and of course, getting some swag out of it.

So… that’s going to be a talking point on the Cast this coming Monday.

Sunday Gimmick Table #26 – Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Tiger Handheld Game (202x)

Back by popular demand… because if they’ll bring back Plumbers Don’t Wear Ties, they’ll bring back anything…

Full disclosure: A majority of the footage seen here was recorded ages ago, so to make it seem new-ish, there’s an extra bit of gameplay and even some recent dubbing added in.

But yeah, Hasbro saw fit to remake and/or re-release a number of vintage Tiger Electronics handheld games and one of them was a Power Rangers game that I, obviously, bought. It’s not the one from my youth, but it’s… certainly something, I guess.

COMIC REVIEW – MMPR: The Return (2024 Miniseries)

So while a bunch of old-timers were revisiting past glory in New Zealand – resulting in the 30th anniversary special, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once And Always – OG Pinky Amy Jo Johnson was busy crafting her own anniversary story… out of beeswax. The kind that’s none of ours.

Nobody is going to get that.
