Had a bunch of VX Gaming Famiclones laying around, was going to do individual videos on each one, but then never got around to… but rather than make an effort, I decided to go with a general overview of these consoles. Not a sales pitch or sponsorship deal; just curious as to why Giant Tiger continues to sell these things every so often.

Playing a bunch of NES games with a Super Stick suited for Atari. Meh.

This went public on Youtube early, so why not do it now?

It amazes me that at no point did I consider a reference to Tommy “Sammy ‘Adam Smith’ Salazar” Tallarico and his backgammoning escapades… oh well. Here’s a thing to fill a Sunday until next week’s special Sunday presentation… which is indeed special.

I bought a controller I needed for PC. It works fine. There’s some bonus footage to justify this video’s existence via my first time playing Sonic Lost World on Steam… which was a thing for some reason.

At long last, the new Intellivision console is here!

For anyone who thought selling a calculator or clock on the Nintendo Switch eShop was the most outrageous thing they’ve ever seen, someone designed a POCKET ORGANIZER for your OG Game Boy handheld unit in 1991. Because if they’ll put the Bible on there, they’ll put anything on there.

A couple years ago while on vacation in Ottawa, I bought an LCD Space Invaders thing and did a video on it (that was posted last year). And then it was lost for two years until now. So now, you get to rewatch old footage that’s bookended with new footage and we get to play this properly… or not. I don’t know. I’m just happy I found this thing after years of having thought it lost.

Sometimes, things don’t work out according to plan. Whether life gets in the way or in the case of today’s video pulled that was actually recorded back in 2023, the hardware simply refuses to work as intended. That’s when you go “I want my money back.”

Anyway, this is what I got before the refund. Bleh.
