WWE held their annual Hell In A Cell PPV event, which was headlined by Cody Rhodes overcoming Seth Rollins in the eponymous Hell In A Cell main event that saw the world gasp at Cody’s huge gash that was the result of a torn pec that he’ll probably need to get fixed now.
I didn’t see the show; I ended up watching the Double Or Nothing replay and will do a musings on that show once I’m done with it… it’s way too fucking long, kids. However, I did catch clips of the match in question and that has to be a gutbuster for Cody to perform with that massive blotch. That pain he has to go through, on top of the bumps and abuse during that match. I don’t envy Seth in trying to make sure Cody doesn’t cause further damage while also making the match watchable, which I’ve heard was indeed the case.
Kudos to Cody Rhodes for pulling off that effort under that amount of duress. Please never do that shit again. Thanks.
