Found this interview with actor Bob Hoskins (the detective guy from Roger Rabbit) that seems like a decent enough read. Why would I care about this story? Because of this timeless gem:

It had a husband-and-wife team directing, whose arrogance had been mistaken for talent. After so many weeks their own agent told them to get off the set! Fuckin’ nightmare. Fuckin’ idiots.”
