Ramblin’ ‘Bout Rasslin’

Because of a family emergency, I was unable to catch last night’s tantalizing 3-hour RAW offering. Of course, considering that the last segment to close the show was a contract signing and sports entertainment over a match that I have zero interest in watch while the WWE Champion opens the fucking show, I doubt I missed a whole lot.

In case it hasn’t been already evident, I have no interest in this Brock Lesnar/HHH match at the upcoming PPV. The end result is pretty much a dead giveaway, it contributes nothing to the overall product, and most of all, I simply don’t care because this “feud” had done nothing to make me care. See, it doesn’t matter if you like a story or don’t; the important thing is that it evoke some response and if it doesn’t do that, then what’s the point?
Meanwhile, over in Orlando, Austin Aries continues to make the most of his current World Title reign, I’m enjoying the hell out of the BFG series (money’s on Bully Ray to get the shot – the guy does good stuff and he deserves the rub), I’m actually semi-intrigued by this Aces & Eights angle, Samoa Joe looks to finally get back that edge he’s been missing these past few years, and most of all, the shows are really fun and enjoyable. Even if the ratings don’t reflect, TNA is certainly on the right track and I do hope that they stick with the live shows for a tad longer because the end result has been mostly positive.

Pure Fucking Genius From Chris Bores

Didn’t think he’d go this route, but there you go…

(2024 Update: And then a decade or so later, he’d do some “e-begging” of his own to try and fund an Irate Gamer Blu-Ray set. Not gonna rag on him for it; we all change our tune on things over time and I still find this funny, so… whatever. He gets a pass… this time.)

My Sacrifice Was Not Reflected…

Did a little review and submitted details to this Review A Bad Game Day site yesterday morning… as of 10:44 AM EST today, my sacrifice was not reflected on the site.

Oh well… doesn’t really matter. It was a fun project and hopefully, they’ll do another one of these next year. There’s no shortage in crap games out there, so why not?

Review #111 – Fire Fly (Atari 2600)

So, here’s the deal. There’s this thing going on today where people are doing reviews on bad video games… so I figured, “Why not?”

The review itself had been done before for another video project, but sorta redone for the sake of this event. If I had known about this sooner, I think it could have been better… but given the subject matter, I somehow doubt that.
