Review #113 – Keystone Kapers (Atari 2600)
About that… THING
Just got a comment from an anonymous user…

I remember a couple videos you did last year on their Suburban Knight thing. Are you going to be doing something similar for this one or is your post a safe bet that it’s not going to happen?
Besides, it’s eight parts… and the first looks to be forty minutes long. Are you out of your fucking mind?
Order 66? What About Order 64?

Kill all the Gungans, I guess?
Eh…
Not Another One Of These Stupid Things…
Yes, apparently this is supposed to be a fan creation of a re-imagined grim and gritty MMPR flick… god, shoot me.
This much I will give them; it looks nice and the cinematography is pretty good for a grim and gritty picture. But the voiceover is kinda crap; it’s supposed to sound menacing, but instead sound like somebody has a sore throat or something. But perhaps the most disenchanting thing about this is that, outside of the staff, there is nothing distinctly Power Rangers about this. No costumes, no robots, not even a fight or two. At least the other “grim and gritty” clip from a couple weeks back had Rangers fighting; this doesn’t even tease that.
This one’s probably not for me. I guess I’ll stick with my brand-spanking new DVDs.
Cute Little MMPR Fan Film Thing
From the unfortunately mundane to the ridiculously cute… I got a laugh out of this one.
Summerslam 2012 – extremely quick points… and I mean really quick
Brock wins… and that’s good for business.
Meanwhile, CM Punk is still WWE Champion, Sheamus is still World Champion, Daniel Bryan Danielson got a win, Santino is no longer champion, Miz is still IC Champion, and nobody cares about the tag titles.
Almost forgot… best part of the show was when Fred Durst flipped the camera off. Be a star, Freddy. Be a star.
That’s it for Summerslam.
Later.
