New Star Trek Beyond Trailer… Now This Is More Like It

Janet Maslin once started her 1982 review of Star Trek II: The Wrath Of Khan with the words, “Now this is more like it.” The same can be said for this second trailer, which does a far better job of selling the upcoming (3rd in the current series/13th overall) film than the controversial teaser released months ago. Your mileage may vary, but as far as I’m concerned? This is more like it.

So one guy decides he’s not going to watch or review the upcoming Ghostbusters movie and people decide to lose their shit… And apparently, this is enough to qualify as a “news” story. My faith in modern journalism would’ve been shattered and destroyed forever if it had existed in the first place. As such, I merely shrug my shoulders and go back to playing Doom…

Doom, as in the old one from 1993, not the new one from 2016 that I have no intention or desire to buy at the moment, mostly due to concerns that it won’t run well on my rinky-dink PC… the high price tag doesn’t help matters, either. Say, I wonder if this will be a news story that will flip some poop patties.

Oh, and for those who cares, there’s another trailer for this movie out and can be accessed on the same page. Haven’t seen it yet, but people say it still looks awful, so I guess that’s what we’re going with.

In other news, Mike Matei took a dump. Reports are conflicting as to whether the stool was light or dark colored. We’ll have more details as the news break out and if you believed any of this to be true, then I’ve got twenty acres of grassland in Antarctica that I’ll sell you for real cheap.

WWE Payback 2016

A little late to the dance with this one, but I just got around to rewatching the show and I’d figure a fresher take was in order so…

As per the case when I usually do these things, I don’t watch the pre-shows and therefore I don’t talk about the pre-show. Also, I’m not going to touch the opening tag match where Enzo Amore suffered that nasty injury since there’s not much to talk about. I suppose we could say it’ll give Big Cass a chance to shine on his own and we know how Vince loves his big guys. All snark aside, shout out to Enzo, hope he comes back in one piece.
