Review #06 – Adventures In The Magic Kingdom (NES)

(2025 Update: New video upload with new title card and slight edits.)

Another review contest submission entry… although this uploaded version removes some of the bits that were added strictly for the contest, such as an ad for a pub that may or may not still be around these days.

Review #04 – Solar Striker (Game Boy)

(2025 Update: New video upload with new title card and slight edits.)

A quick review of Solar Striker for the Game Boy.

There’s also a written review on my GameFAQS page for those interested in reading more on Solar Striker.

Nothing to do with the teaser image; that’s in the next review, which I’ll post in a couple days.

Review #03 – Asteroids (Atari 7800)

(2025 Update: New video upload with new title card and slight edits.)

Video Review #3 of Asteroids for the Atari 7800 ProSystem. The review itself is a slightly varied version of the written review I posted on my GameFAQS page. Found this one laying around on the hard drive. Since there hasn’t been much in terms of new content here lately, figured I’d toss this one out.

Review #02 – Hat Trick (Atari 7800)

(2025 Update: New video upload with new title card and slight edits.)

This review has since been superseded by an recent version some time later, but this is kept here for purely archival purposes.

A quick, barebones review of Hat Trick, an Atari 7800 conversion of a simplistic 1984 arcade game of the same name. Recorded and edited late at night in early-March 2010, but only posted towards the end of the month. Figures.

Review #01 – Track & Field (NES)

(2025 Update: New video upload with new title card and slight edits.)

A video review of the original Track & Field for NES and a (possible) submission to Asalieri’s reviewing contest thing.

As of this posting, none of the other contestants reviewed this game, which I thought was strange given its relation to one of the contest’s requirements, which requires a submission include the Chariots Of Fire music, of which Track & Field includes. So I figured that I give it a shot and see what sort of criticisms it garner.

I’ll probably do some more of these if there’s enough people interested (or at least enough people talking about it).
