2026 Author’s Notes
What you’re reading is the original 1st draft of my first major fanfiction project called The Weapon, a sequel of sorts to the 10th anniversary episode “Forever Red.” This version somewhat predates the version that would eventually be published on Fanfiction.Net.
It’s worth noting that little has changed between the original draft and the eventual published product up until the final chapter, which featured a much darker ending that would lead to a follow-up that never came to be. Naturally, the later version would include a different ending that was less grim. The Weapon would eventually receive an revised edition retitled Wraith… but that’s another story.
