Coming Up… Bores Takes A Shot At Robocop… What, Again?

So for the next Irate Gamer video (a rarity if there ever was one), our old buddy, old pal Christopher is going to take a gander at Robocop for the NES…

Wait a minute, didn’t he do this one?

Oh wait… yes, he did.

Actually, I don’t think this is a big deal or anything. There’s no written rule saying that you can’t revisit something that you did before… otherwise, any remake out there would be tossed out the window.

I’m actually quite curious as to whether he’ll stick with the first game or venture onto the sequels… some will likely wonder if he’ll actually post said video next week as advertised.

Man Ejected From Impact Wrestling

Apparently, a man was ejected from this evening’s sessions of Impact Wrestling tapings because he was posting taping spoilers on a website through his cell phone and Universal Studios security pretty much found out about it. You know, now would be a good time to consider the tried and tested method of pen and paper. It’s not as instantaneous, but it works… sometimes.

You know, I almost feel bad placing the usual label here because TNA’s not at fault here. However… it does involve a moron… I guess…

EDIT: Despite this new ban, spoilers eventually came up.

Do You Remember… Ric Flair Finance?

Neither do I… maybe Ric Flair could have used some financial advice so that he didn’t have to deal with stuff like this.

Poor, poor Ric. Should have retired with dignity and saved his cash… instead, the man who used to be the biggest name in wrestling is now the biggest joke on the Internet…

Yep.

On a sidenote, I didn’t watch Impact… because it was my dad’s birthday… and that takes precedence over an entertainment show.

Jimmy is bitching about DVDs again

Why don’t you give him a few views to see him bitch about DVD cases again?

Seriously, dude. ENOUGH WITH THE DVD CASES! DVD CASES ARE BULLSHIT! WE GET IT! MOVE ON TO SOMETHING ELSE, DAMMIT!!!!!

EDIT: Some time later, I posted the following comment on the video question… obviously, more calmer and less rambling than my initial statement.

As far as the video goes, I felt this was an unnecessary rehash of the first Bullshit video and not as enjoyable. Watching the video, I thought, “Okay, fine. DVD cases are bullshit. Fine, we know that. Next.”

I thought the first revisit on the topic (Episode 11, I believe) more than covered all the reasonings as to why anything DVD-related (cases, endless splash screens, etc) might be bullshit, but this really added nothing new. Maybe the next Bullshit video was cover something new instead of something old… or is it blue?

Sorry, James. Not feeling this one.

VLOG – Remembering The Macho Man

I was just getting back from personal business when I got the news that Randy Savage had died. It was a shock to hear about that. And perhaps, it’s one that hurts quite a bit… because this was not just a moderately successful superstar wrestler nor is he someone dabbled in the main event scene. This is a legend… one of the true greats in professional wrestling. Someone who was as close to being the Total Package as you can get when it comes to that form of sports entertainment. He had the look, he had the voice, he had the moves, and most importantly, he had the charisma and the personality that really made him stand out and made people take notice… and clearly, a lot of people took notice for him to have gotten the name recognition that he did… and deservingly so.

Whether it was his classic matches or his classic insane rambling promos that half the time we didn’t understand what he was saying but who cares because this guy’s cool… or whether it was his classic Slim Jim commercials that actually got me to try out Slim Jims for the first and possibly last time… or his three-minute-cameo in the first Spider-Man movie nine years ago… or hell, even his rap album that he tossed out around the same time… it was one of those cases where no matter how good or how bad the final product turned out, you couldn’t help but feel that he gave it his all and that he gave it his best shot… and I think that effort and that passion showed in a lot of the stuff he did. For the most part, his stuff never felt phoned in… even during recent years when he was showing off his new action figure at the Comicon or cutting a promo for the WWE All-Stars game.

This is a man who deserved to be in that Hall of Fame of theirs… and the only sad thing is that he never got that chance due to whatever petty politics that held off such a thing.

Thanks for the memories, “Macho Man” Randy Savage. You shall be missed.

Can I get a “Oooooooo Yeeeaaaaahhhhhhhh!”
