Rumored Wrestlemania 33 Card

From rajah.com, here’s the rumored Wrestlemania 33 card that’s been floating around recently. Plans are always subject to change and it’s possible that what we get could be different from what’s been rumored. I’ll save some further thoughts for after the break, but suffice it to say, I’m not exactly excited for this card.

Silly Doodle – Go Go Pee In That Cup (Prime Edition Doodle)

This was done very quickly and very crudely… but for those wanting to believe that one kiss in the movie trailer meant the same for the “prime” universe versions of that particular pairing, you’d have to also believe that soft-spoken Trini had to… well, you know.

You could probably paint a better mental image in your brain.

Royal Ramble 2017

Apparently, this Royal Rumble is a big deal because it has a bunch of old guys in it. Undertaker, Goldberg, Bork Lazer, Big Slow,… maybe a couple NXT guys might show up for good measure.

As per the case with these PPVs, I generally don’t watch the pre-shows. I did catch the Holy Foley marathon that was playing early during the day and I regret having done so. As much as I enjoyed Mick Foley’s antics during his prime years, modern-day Foley is about as entertaining as a root canal. A truly dreadful show in every sense of the word… even Total Divas is much more entertaining than this (and that show is also the equivalent of an anal evacuation.)

But I digress. I’m not here to talk about WWE’s horrible reality shows. I’m here to muse on the Rumble. So here’re my post-show thoughts and, as a bit of an added bonus, I include my “live notes” that I took during the Rumble match in progress. So that’s something… I guess.

Silly Doodle – It’s Da Wall, Brutha!

Been considering putting some doodles of mine up online for all to enjoy or mock, whatever floats your boat. Here’s a doodle of the Huckster pointing at a wall, somewhat inspired by one of Hogan’s WCW promos during the company’s final years. The markers I used aren’t fantastic, but they worked well enough for a quick thing.

Random Thoughts On… The New Impact Wrestling Logo

So this is the new Impact Wrestling logo courtesy of the Anthem Sports company who bought TNA. Since everyone has said their piece in recent weeks, I might as well chime long after this bares relevance in regards to anything.

So… this is a really stupid looking logo. Not offensive, but just really stupid.

Even without the obnoxious blue bird hovering over the title, this still looks like some amateur found some text warping features in an ancient version of Paint Shop Pro, drew a couple extra lines, and VOILA! New logo! It is a considerable stepdown from the previous Impact Wrestling logo (which I didn’t care much for, either.)

Any chance we can go back to the show’s original logo from 2004-2011… you know, the one they had before “wrestling mattered” or whatever their stupid tagline was.
