Ten Pounds Of Hemp

So this is it… the eco-friendly WWE World Heavyweight Championship belt… and it’s already more distinguished than the toy belt held by Abeyance.

In all seriousness, I love this belt; it’s wonderfully hideous. It’s a creative twist to the custom title, looks somewhat homemade despite the wood panels, and probably stinks a weed bit. And while this might seem like a joke for some folks, at the very least, when Daniel Bryan Danielson eventually loses the title, we’ll simply revert back to the previous title belt and move on with our lives.

That red belt, on the other hand? Then, now, forever… a joke.

About That Battle For The Grid Game…

Yeah, JDF on the thumbnail doesn’t instill much hope.

But yeah, from the Legacy War mobile phone game folks comes another fighting that is most definitely NOT Legacy Wars. None of that rock-paper-scissors nonsense; just straight-up “accessible” fighting game mechanics… whatever that entails.

So another Power Rangers fighting game, huh? I’m cool with that, actually. Let’s hope it turns out good, but considering the track record of recent games in the franchise, I’m keeping my expectations firmly on the ground.

An UK Publication Reminds You That Ataribox Is A Thing

I’m confounded by the lack of news regarding Ataribox. Isn’t it supposed to be out a few months?

Speaking of Atari, I’ve played my Atari 7800 for the first time in a long while. First game I fired up was Enduro. Good times.

And yes, there will be Atari reviews… they need love, too.

IMPACT Wrestling To Debut On The Pursuit Channel

Impact Wrestling is moving out of the obscurity of Pop TV this year and will premiere this January on the Pursuit Channel, a television channel dedicated to hunting and fishing. This seems almost about as odd a move as WWE premiering their relaunched WWECW show on SyFy back in 2006… and then you realize that the Pursuit Channel is run by Anthem, the same folks who also own the Fight Network and – you guessed it – Impact Wrestling.

Welp, that explains that. Best of luck to them, I suppose.
