Morphin Madness Rankings – Jason Destroys Tommy, JDF Sheds A Tear

“He’s a cancer to the franchise; A guy constantly siphoning off feelgood memories of a show he did twenty years ago.”

Don’t remember where I got that quote… but it perfectly describes a certain someone associated with said franchise.

From Rangerboard member JNTA1234, here are the Ranger Rankings in Morphin Madness. Original post here if you want the full list, but here’re the top ten. For the sake of clarity, the list formatting is fixed up a bit so that it’s easier to read.

For those who are interested, here’s how the Rangers rank according to Morphin Madness. Rangers featured more than once are merged and will take the place of their highest ranking “costume”. And Rangers eliminated at the same time are ranked chronologically.

1.Jason
2.Tommy
3.Phantom Ranger
4.Ryan
5.Jen
6.Trini
7.RJ
8.Troy
9.Andro
10.Wes

Sorry, JDF. But ASJ’s two Ranger forms trumps your five. Back to the refrigerator you go.

“Noticed that JDF took down all his Facebook posts regarding Morphin Madness… probably because they seem silly… or is it because his favorite (Green) Ranger DIDN’T make it to the final five?”

Oh, come on. Give him some credit; at least White Ranger made it to the Final Five, so it’s a given that at least ONE of them would make it… even if he has to share the spotlight with… JASON!

Sorry, Tommy and JDF fanwankers. But your hero has to play second fiddle to the original Red Ranger.

Fucking Smartphone Isn't So Smart

If a call ends on one end, it should automatically disconnect on the other. This was the case with my old handset. But with the “smart” phone, that doesn’t seem to be the case. And even when tapping the “End Call” button on screen, it didn’t work. So what I’ve got is a phone call that lasted about an hour long despite no one on the other end of the line.

Fucking worthless smartphones. I’m going back to stupid phones. They seem a bit smarter.

So… Turtles.

This one’s been out for a while, but I only got around to seeing this just now and… I am cautiously pessimistic.

Look, I know it’s “cool” to rag on Michael Bay after his Transformers movies and all that, but honestly, this doesn’t look utterly terrible. It doesn’t look good, either; feels a bit generic, almost unashamedly lifting plot elements from that Amazing Spider-Man film that I honestly didn’t care for, the whole thing seems completely cliched, and there seems to be a serious lack of ninjas here outside of those Turtle things… and there might be a few other things in mind… but other than that, I think it’s not half bad and I’m looking forward to it.

I’m holding out false hope here, aren’t I?

Waiting for the Blu-Ray, I guess.
