Because of a family emergency, I was unable to catch last night’s tantalizing 3-hour RAW offering. Of course, considering that the last segment to close the show was a contract signing and sports entertainment over a match that I have zero interest in watch while the WWE Champion opens the fucking show, I doubt I missed a whole lot.

My Sacrifice Was FINALLY Recognized!

Click for bigger view… but happy me!
Some justice in the world.
Pure Fucking Genius From Chris Bores
Didn’t think he’d go this route, but there you go…
(2024 Update: And then a decade or so later, he’d do some “e-begging” of his own to try and fund an Irate Gamer Blu-Ray set. Not gonna rag on him for it; we all change our tune on things over time and I still find this funny, so… whatever. He gets a pass… this time.)
Just got an e-mail…

These just shipped… this morning.
Just in time for my birthday next week.
Playing Spider-Man for NES…

Currently gathering footage and refreshing my memory for the eventual video review, but I can sum up my initial thoughts with the peek-chure above.
My Sacrifice Was Not Reflected…
Did a little review and submitted details to this Review A Bad Game Day site yesterday morning… as of 10:44 AM EST today, my sacrifice was not reflected on the site.
Oh well… doesn’t really matter. It was a fun project and hopefully, they’ll do another one of these next year. There’s no shortage in crap games out there, so why not?
Someone please explain to me…
…why there is an online campaign to raise money to produce copies of a game that is virtually unplayable and completely worthless despite its high collector’s value? So that more people will get reproduction copies of this one crappy game? Do we really need that sort of thing here?
Review #111 – Fire Fly (Atari 2600)
So, here’s the deal. There’s this thing going on today where people are doing reviews on bad video games… so I figured, “Why not?”
The review itself had been done before for another video project, but sorta redone for the sake of this event. If I had known about this sooner, I think it could have been better… but given the subject matter, I somehow doubt that.
VLOG – A MiniCity of Mega Bloks And Low Resolution
A mall close by had a miniature city on display and I wanted to test out the camcorder function on my rinky-dink phone. Unfortunately, video quality is not particularly impressive and sound is ear rapingly loud (hence, the musical cue). Oh well, at least the phone works.
Review #110 – Joust (NES)
(December 2012 Update: Finally got around to fixing the Joust (NES) review, which was missing a bunch of audio at the begining. This has been rectified.)
