Oh lookie… it’s another Tetris game from Japan on Playstation… and that’s about all I’ve got on that front unless I can somehow get that Cardcaptor Sakura variant that costs a billion dollars or something.
On the bright side, Review #1300 is on Friday and it won’t cover a Tetris game.
From the land of the Rising Sun, a Tetris game on Playstation that you’ve probably already played before when it was called, well, Tetris. And as someone who plays a fair amount of Tetris, I’m happy to knock this off the list, but at the same time… well…
Honestly, the fact that we’ve gotten to the point where I can feel comfortable sharing my true feelings on games that are considered bonafide classics and not giving a fuck about the backlash is rather gratifying. I mean, look. I’m not getting to Youtube superstardom or anything like that. Not aiming for that. I’d rather be me and have a few folks around to watch me share “bad” takes than a whole bunch of yes-person stragglers subscribe because I said something they agreed with.
So, no, I don’t hold Symphony in high regard. I still think it’s a good game, but this is one relic I refuse to worship for the sake of… what? I don’t know.
Glory be to Playstation 3 store and its PS1 Classics that I never would have considered otherwise.
Let’s be honest; this is the only good thing I’m getting out of Sony these days aside from a TV that has yet to crap out on me. Thank heavens for small favors.
