It took me a couple weeks to do a write-up, but here we are. Full Gear thoughts.
RAW (Nov. 16th. 2020) – Retri-POOP-shun Is A Mystery…
So, for reasons that escape me, I watched some bits of last Monday’s edition of RAW. I didn’t watch all of it because I’m still getting a headache from that Thunderdome stuff and I can only stomach a bit of it before I have to turn the show off. However, I was able to watch a couple major bits and figured I’d share my thoughts.

RAW After Mania (March 31st, 2008) – Flair Retires For Go-BWAH-HAH-HAH GOOD ONE PAL!
So Wrestlemania 24 saw Shawn Michaels defeating Ric Flair in what ended up being Flair’s “retirement” match. The night after on RAW, Ric Flair got a glowing tribute when they brought back the old Horsemen – Arn Anderson, Barry Windham, JJ Dillion, even Tully Blanchard – as well as some other folks who weren’t under contract with TNA and he got to cut a big speech, he teared up, he expressed his gratitude, and most people figured he’d be back sooner than later.
Then he went to TNA, had a couple bad matches, and never wrestled again… so much for the happy retirement.
Not much else worth noting here. Jericho beats CM Punk the night after he won MITB, there’s a Santino Marella vs. Maria Kanellis match that’s not worth watching, and a couple promos here and there. That’s all I can recall.

Full Gear, Game Gear, Nerd Game… I don’t know how much further I can go with this less than stellar play on words that mean nothing in the long term.
Review #760 – WWF Smackdown 2: Know Your Role (PSX)
Your role, know it. Your mouth, shut it.
Roody poo.
RAW After Mania (April 2nd, 2007) – We Don’t Talk About This One, Either
Yeah… stuff happens on this show.
It’s probably not the most elaborate thing, but this was one of those shows where stuff happens and none of it stuck. This was the night after the Battle Of The Billionaires and Vince got his head shaved… which makes him wear a fedora that led him to winning the ECW title over Bobby Lashley at the next PPV. Also Shawn and Cena were tag champs and had a match at Mania that Cena won to boos, and then Shawn turned on Cena and they lost the belts to the Hardys in a battle royal…
Yeah, that’s all I got. Sorry.

Thoughts on the 23rd anniversary of the Montreal Screwjob, Chris Jericho joining the NXT demographic, and… well, I’d like to say that we talk last night’s Full Gear show, but this was recorded before the show took place, so instead I’ll go ahead and talk about how much of a shitshow you folks have down south… maybe I shouldn’t have had a Happy Pinky on the banner for such a dire episode, but whatever.
Note: This episode was recorded before it was announced that Joe Biden had won the presidency. I’ll make a note of it next episode, if I care enough, that is.
Congrats To Joe Bison
So… after days of counting votes, the outlaw mudshow otherwise known as this year’s U.S. presidential election has reached its conclusion, as Joe Bison gained his votes to defeat the Orange Man.
Of course, Orange Man is crying foul at the results, claiming this is stolen and illegal counts are being voted or whatever. Indeed, we have a winner, but the shitstorm is just getting started.
As I said Wednesday, whatever happens afterwards is what you folks down south deserve. What that ends up being… I’m not entirely sure, but hopefully Sleepy Joe will able to figure it out soon while his meds are still a thing.
In all seriousness, though, congrats to Joe Biden for winning the election. What exactly he won is something he’ll have to discover for himself, but I guess CNN will happy that they no longer have to shit on the Orange Man.
Review #759 – Route-16 Turbo (Famicom)
Another obscure Famicom-only release hits NSO… and by obscure, I mean it’s probably been on a pirate multicart or two.
