Billie Kay Released Because Kevin Dunn Doesn’t Get Her

So the Bucky Beaver Motherfucker strikes again.
(Again? Who do you think allows for that atrocious editing and camera cutting on WWE programing?)
I’ll admit to not being the biggest Billie Kay fan in the world. In fact, I find her to be quite hideous in more ways than one and a large part has to do with the amount of make-up they cake this poor girl world (watch her YouTube stuff and you’ll find she’s actually not that bad looking), but letting her go because Bucky Beaver decided there was a ceiling for her. Dude, you’ve got a whole bunch of people with ceilings; you might as well drop them too.
Oh wait, you already have… Oops.

AEW Dynamite (April 14th. 2021): The Million Viewer Dynamite

So Dynamite broke a million viewers this past Wednesday… and all it took was Triple H being forced to work Tuesdays… again.

My musings this week will be extremely brief, since last week’s episode left me in such a sour mood that I no longer have the energy to muster much enthusiasm for this one, which was a better show, at least.

Let’s get this over with.

NWA Into The Fire (December 2019 PPV)

So… this was on the cheap and I figured why not? I enjoyed the three free PPVs that NWA provided and so might as well chip in a couple bucks to check out the rest of the shows.

Into The Fire took place at the studios where they shot their episodes of NWA Powerrrrrrr, which means a small studio set modeled after the old Mid-Atlantic techwood studios from thirty plus years ago. It’s a nice setting for a weekly studio wrestling show, but not a particularly inspired look for a paid PPV event.

Videos And Ramblemania Coming Up… Eventually

A quick period of nothing after a week of nothing quality audio has been uploaded… but for those wanting news on blog updates… here you go.

In the process of watching Wrestlemania Jumbo Edition and will eventually cook up a Ramblemania next week. For those who want an early sample of my thoughts on the show, I’ll put up a DTM-Cast this coming weekend, which will also include the infrequent Q&A segment to fill time.

One review in the can that I’m hoping will be good to go this week, but there’s also a couple quick Mario Maker 2 videos to put up to fill the void, for lack of a better term.

Not much else is going on at the moment. There might be a couple phantom updates here and there with some old posts being restored – mostly unfinished Dynamite musings that I’d much rather spread out than dump together, but there’s a couple posts from a couple years back that might see the light of day sooner than later. If anyone really wants a checklist of these posts, I’ll see about doing a log the next time I do one of these posts.

Anyway, that’s it for now. Good day and be safe.

AEW Dynamite (April 7th, 2021): The Honeymoon Is Over

History was made on the seventh day of April in the year twenty-twenty-one. It is a day that will live in immediate infamy before being promptly forgotten about, for it is the day where AEW aired the first episode of Dynamite that I actively didn’t like.

To be fair, it wasn’t all bad and it’s entirely possible that I was just in a sour mood, but the show certainly left me in even more of a sour state coming out of it. So I’ll blow through this quickly, but be forewarned that the usual happy or morosely calm musings is nowhere to be found. Instead, you’re getting grumpy musings and there’s a bunch of things that made me grumpy.
