Review #1227 – Yoshi (NES)

A week of Yoshi is ruined by a belated Kirby episode… but regardless, it’s a week of Yoshi-themed puzzle games on your NES, Game Boy… and even SNES gets a run at it… and then on Saturday, we’ll do something or other, I don’t know.

Review #1226 – Kirby Super Star (Super NES)

It actually hurts that this got delayed a couple times, but I guess this means a full week of videos, as this coming week was also supposed to be a marathon and that’s still the plan… I only wish that this wasn’t a piece of shit plan.

Review #1222 – Tetris 1986 (MS-DOS) – Take 2

Had this one in the can, so let’s pull it out; a look at an updated version of the original MS-DOS version of Tetris that includes a Phantom Mode that makes square pieces invisible because in Soviet Russia, Line Clears You… or something. Played off Tetris Forever because I wouldn’t have known about this release otherwise.

Oh yes, it’s another Tetris review… meh.

Podracing before podracing was cool… waiting for the eventual comment to come tell me that podracing was never cool.

Review #1220 – Faxanadu (NES)

We’re finally here, aren’t we?

This review was actually pretty tough to get through because Faxanadu was the last game I played with Sacha by my side a few days before she finally passed. So, there is an emotional hurdle that needed to be overcome in order to get through this thing, which is why this opens with the “For Sacha” signature that was a thing for most of my 2024 videos. This one is for her… and I still miss her.
