From the people who brought you Planet Smashers… comes a game that’s nothing like Planet Smashers… that’s actually a good thing when you think about it.

WCW Monday Nitro (Nov. 27th, 1995) – Post World War 3 Or Something…
It’s the World War 3 go-home show, where they open the show with Hulk Hogan’s promo where he ditched his black clothes for his usual red and yellow stuff… amazing that we’re opening with this promo and not recapping the main event that saw the Macho Man Randy Savage win his first WCW World title and Hogan being SPORTSMAN OF THE YEAR and stuff.
But first, we have a brief match where Johnny B Badd punches DDP in the face for the pinfall win, which makes Diamond Doll Kimberly happy because… reasons… Johnny eventually goes away and they eventually slap in the Booty Man. How long before that happens? Should I even care at this point?
Kevin Sullivan is complaining to Jimmy Hart about something, who assures Sullivan that “he has a plan.” Oh, goodie.
In a rare women’s match on this program, Bull Nakano & Akira Hokuto defeated Cutie Suzuki & Mayumi Ozaki in a fun joshi match. How long before Madusa shows up to trash the WWF Women’s title so that she can get in on this action?
Hulk Hogan squashes newcomer Hugh Morris (a.k.a. future former WWE trainer Bill DeMott) and then we get the eventual confrontation between Hogan and new WCW champ Macho Man that is interrupted by a run-in from Giant, who kills Macho and runs aways from Hogan, who is held back by Sting… this leads to Sting and Lex Luger to win a match over Brian Pillman and Arn Anderson, which leads to a Horseman ambush that is run off by Hulk Hogan, who also wants to kill Luger, but is stopped by Sting. I wonder if maybe Sting should have just let Hogan kill everyone; then we wouldn’t have that whole nWo business next year.
Other than a fun women’s match, not much else going on for this show beyond some story progression. If nothing else, the show wasn’t boring, but it was just there.
THE BITE COMMENTAIES #10 – Sith At 20
This past May marked the 20th anniversary of the third Star Wars prequel film, Episode III: Revenge Of The Sith, which finally paid off its long-running story of how Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker fell to the dark side and eventually became Darth Vader. And if you want to me to tell how I felt about the film at the time, I thought it was the only really good film out of the prequel since everyone died. And I wasn’t the only one who thought that because a bunch of people I went to see the film with thought it was the only really good prequel out of the bunch because everyone died.
Now we all know that statement is a bit of a fib. Not everyone died, obviously; this isn’t Rogue One, for cryin’ out loud. But the cast of characters that were introduced in prior prequel films were either killed off or cast aside to make way for the characters that people actually cared about to come along and have the adventures they had back in 77 and the circle would be complete or some deal like that.
Review #1260 – Frog Pond (Atari 2600)
You can find this on Atari Vault on Steam… oh wait…
Wet Dog
In case you didn’t get the memo, we’re switching to a Tuesday-Friday review schedule for the next four weeks until the Christmas week. Here’s a wet dog to keep you company.
DTM House Show – Streaming Ants (November 23rd, 2025)
Yeah, it’s a pre-recorded session and not a live stream, but subscribers got advanced notice on the premiere, which included a chat feature and everything… and that’s all we’ve got.
Anyway, I was testing out the Antstream gimmick and gav e it a brief recording. Not much else to add to the noise other than… do you see a couple hints of things to come? Look harder…
Sea Devils Serial Gets New Re-Release Despite RTD’s Efforts
Source: https://www.doctorwhotv.co.uk/doctor-who-sea-devils-special-106375.htm
The classic Jon Pertwee-helmed 1972 Doctor Who serial, The Sea Devils, is getting a fresh new special edition edit coming to BBC’s exclusive online streamer gimmick, due in December. Not mentioned in the story is RTD’s attempts to get the special renamed “The Homo Aquas” since he considers the original “Sea Devil” name to be “racist” and actually considers the Doctor to be the villain since he was played by a white dude. The BBC, naturally, told him to fuck off and go back to his silly Christmas special.
The Sea Devils: Special Edition sees release on December 7th.
A Sixty-Two Year Journey To Get To Doctor Boo
On this day, about sixty two years ago, the very first telecast of Doctor Who aired on BBC television. I never saw that first story in any way, shape, or form. Maybe one day, I can rectify that, but for now, I just want to talk not about the wonderful program Doctor Who that has endured six decades, but rather the bludgeoned two year parody I refer to as Doctor Boo.
Actually, I don’t want to talk about that show, either… but I felt it’s as good a time as any to catch up on any news regarding the show’s future that doesn’t involve Big Finish or an abortive children’s television fare.

Old (New) 2010 Video Reviews Uploaded On Youtube
Hello, friends. I said that I had a treat for you folks and indeed I do… actually, I haven’t got. I just have a bit of rubbish as usual… but it’s vaguely historical rubbish, I guess…?
Well, I tried… but hey, the laughing Minako GIF is back for these things… so that’s something, I guess…
Okay, let’s get it out of the way. So, I’m pleased to announced that all seventeen video reviews recorded in 2010 have been re-uploaded to Youtube with brand new title cards and slight edits here and there to make them seem less empty and more slick… though not by much. There are some things I can’t fix; audio levels are all over the place, some bits of footage are simply unsalvageable, and then there’s the problem of these things existing in the first place.
The Rebel Assault II review did get one major change out of necessity. Originally, it had been intended as a Halloween upload and an intro was recorded around that time. However, things happened and it got delayed, which resulted in a new intro needing to be dubbed. However, I changed the music and didn’t have the raw audio for the new dub, so the old Halloween related dub was brought back for a video that was supposedly done in November… which it was, mostly. Sometimes these things happen.
In any event, the first batch of new re-ups have taken place today. It’s the first step in eventually getting all the old reviews replaced with newly numbered versions so that there’s some sense of continuity. Also, for those wondering, I haven’t deleted the old videos, but rather they’ve been made private. It’s something that I wish I had done with the old commentaries, but whatever. Lesson learned on that front, I suppose.

Review #1259 – Flap Ninja (Atari 2600)
“But what about Flappo Bird?” you ask.
We don’t talk about Flappo Bird ’round these parts, son.
