Foley Defends "This Is Your Life" – Not Buying It

From wrestlenewz.com;

– A fan wrote to Foley on Twitter last night saying that the point behind his RAW segment with John Cena and The Rock was for people to hate it. Foley replied: “Exactly – the segment with @JohnCena was so bad it was good, and @TheRock put it out of its misery. Mr Cena was CLASSIC though!”
No, Mick. Just no.
The segment wasn’t “so bad it’s good” bad. It was “Jesus H. Christ, where’s that gun at so I can blow my brains out?” bad… okay, a bit stretching, but it was pretty bad. The 1999 Kennel From Hell match between Al Snow and Big Bossman, a match that came about because Bossman kidnapped (then cooked) Al Snow’s pet Chihuahua and is the only match of its kind for a variety of reasons? That’s an example of “so bad it’s good.” This was just bad and only served to remind me of days gone by.

Ohio Valley Wrestling Now Developmental Territory For TNA

Source article can be read here. If you want to read the press release, you can do so from the source or after the break.

You know what? I have to applaud TNA for making this move, especially when you consider OVW’s track record in producing top-notch talent when they were WWE’s developmental territory. It gives TNA a chance to develop their own homegrown talent instead of relying on WWE table scraps. We’ll see how this turns out in the coming times, but this is a good move on TNA’s part.

* The label stays… until TNA can make their product seem watchable on a regular basis and not in short bursts, I’m not changing it. Besides, I think it’s rather clever…

Why There Hasn't Been Any RAW BYTES entries

As you could probably tell, there hasn’t been any Raw Bytes in recent weeks. I’ll be completely honest with you here; I just don’t have the time to catch these things due to work and other things. Not only that, but the Johnny Ace era of RAW is about as appealing and entertaining to watch as it was a few months ago when they had a chance at something big… so until something happens that’s worthy of my viewing hours, I’m probably not going to be following the show and thus… not watching as often.

Meanwhile, I managed to catch last week’s Impact and the World title changing hands… again. I have to admit; the show is actually starting to get good… and I’m not just saying that because Hulk Hogan is OFF my television. Hopefully, they can build on their good fortunes instead of shitting on it… oh, how I realized what I did just now…

Also, I’m forgetting who has a large hand in the creative on that program…

Um… I’ll be going now.

The CM Punk Twitter Rants

Collected the CM Punk tweets that made up his rants… both his original and kid-friendly versions;

CM PUNK Original Rant:

I think a lot of people are missing the point. Fans and coworkers alike. Walking out is a pussy move. There’s a huge difference in what I did. I want change, and I can’t change shit from my couch. I’m in the fox hole. I’m getting it done. I stayed to fight and I’m fighting for change. You can protest, violently or peacefully without actually showing up. Walking out isn’t a solution at least not one that I’ve ever seen work. Hold ‘em up. Make them change. Don’t just walk out, or lay down. Fight. This goes for fans as well. Bored? Don’t like @johncena ? Want more @ZackRyder ? Show up and be heard. Don’t be a pussy and just tweet about it.

I want change, and I’ll stand and fight for it even if I’m alone. Popular or unpopular, I could care less. Take your voting and shove it. Actions speaks louder than words. Except mine. My words are pretty awesome. No think about all that, and hopefully you’ll get it. #fight
Too many tweets from me. Misspellings abound. You CAN’T protest without showing up. I am not Gandhi. I will kick your face. Don’t like HHH as COO? Punch him in the face. I did. It’s wrestling, not the NBA. #fight Next high kick to Johnny “Funkhauser” Ace won’t be an accident.

CM Punk KIDDIE Rant:

More Horror Stories From The Matt Hardy Brand

Yep. Just when Jeff gets sentence to jail, it ends up being Matt’s turn to be caught possessing drugs. You’d think retirement and entering WWE-sponsored rehab would mean things looking up for Matt following his recent arrests, fake suicide notes, and eating grapes… Guess not.

Matt Hardy Gets Arrested… Again

A bit late to the proceedings, but I just got wind that Matt Hardy got another DWI arrest. This time, however, it seems that he’s taking a page from Kurt Angle’s book and is claiming to be framed… as if there’s some sort of CON-spiracy. Yeah, sure. I’m more inclined to believe Ron Killings’ theory of CON-spiracy involving Little Jimmy than I would two guys whose lapse (or lack) of judgment just got them arrested AGAIN.

Seriously, Matt. Get help. This shit ain’t funny anymore.
