Capcom blames lackluster SFxT sales on cannibalism

So, cannibals are to blame for Capcom’s lack of success with SFxT as far as sales goes? Are you sure it’s not because of the fact that you stored away locked content on your discs and are only selling codes to unlock that content and that people are pissed off because of that sort of shady business acumen?

Other than Mega Man 9 and 10, I’m so glad I don’t have to deal with that kind of bullshit.

Turtles In Time

I’ve been rewatching the third TMNT movie… for no reason other than that I was bored and watching terrible sequels to great movies seems to give me some kind of kick that I am unfamiliar with. However, it is not without its chucky-worthy moments, even if it’s at the movie’s expense. I kinda like the Casey Jones scenes with the out-of-time samurais and their exposure to the strange then-present time; those were kinda funny. I suspect that if the entire movie was based on that rather than the horrible past sequences with the feudal rebellion and not-Clint, it probably would have been far better.

But as I’m watching this movie, a sudden realization dawned on me; I actually gotten more laughs and enjoyments out of this one horrible Ninja Turtles than I did out of either TGWTG anniversary special… I guess I know what I’m watching this year…

John Cena Overcomes Another Obstacle: His (Ex-)Wife

The breaking news story here: http://www.wrestlenewz.com/wrestling/wwe-news/tmz-john-cena-files-for-divorce-from-wife/

I guess old Johnny couldn’t “rise above hate” and “gave up” on his marriage. Har, har, har.
Now people won’t have that adultery card to play on when he hooks up with Eve Torres. Har, har, har.
Me so funny… or not.
What’s not funny; kids believing that Johnny is the epitome of goodness and top of his game while this is going on. Which is not fair to the children who believe in him. I mean, come on. At least the Huckster had the decency to wait until reaching the senile point of the career to let out the dirty laundry.
At least the upcoming sex tape will be a fair more watch– fucking hell, what am I doing?

More Details On The Upcoming MMPR DVD Sets

Set to be released in August, the first volume of many Power Rangers DVD sets will contain the first thirty episodes of MMPR Season 1 and will be closed captioned. More details along with the cover art can be found at the following link:

Three DVDs with ten episodes each? Looks like the earlier seasons might be broken up into two halves, while the later Disney seasons will probably only need a single volume to contain the whole series. And it probably would have been a longshot for something a little extra to be included onto the pile.
Oh well… As long as the price is right, I might pick this up… or perhaps I’d be better off waiting for complete season sets when those eventually get released. In the meantime, I still have Netflix.

Got a Memo…

Apparently John Cena overcame the odds again… Considering it’s against Brock Lesnar, I suppose it makes sense. In terms of the storyline, Cena needed the victory to rebound from that loss to Rock at Mania 28. And we can’t make Brock seem totally indestructible. Besides, John needed to get his win back from 2003, so I’m cool with this.

Haven’t seen the show, but a friend told me it was pretty good with solid matches all around.

Steve Austin Lost His Balls

from wrestlenewz.com:

Steve Austin was asked on Twitter about his favorite WWE Diva. He replied with Kelly Kelly:

“She’s my fave Diva. Super nice young lady. Keeps improving in the ring. Very easy on the eyes.”

Everybody knows about Austin 3:16, but if you flip down a few pages, you’ll eventually come across Austin 12:45 and Austin 12:46, which states “Damn, son. I lost my damn balls! Does anybody have a WHAT?! for Steve Austin?”
I should probably read the next verse in Austin 12:47:
And somewhere in the vastness of space, the Extreme Stunning Superstar shed manly tears.
