First Look At The VR Troopers Reboot!

From Entertainment Weakly… er, I mean, Weekly comes your first look at the new VR Troopers reboot film that nobody knew was filming and thus was a total surprise. They’re not bad looking, but I’m somewhat confused by the decision to expand the Trooper team from three members to five. Also, I don’t get the reason why they modeled the Troopers’ colors off that other Ameri-toku-esque thing that’s more popular and stuff, but this picture surely has me excited for that VR Troopers movie.

Now if only Lionsgate can get around to showing the suits for the upcoming Power Rangers film, that would make things even sweeter!

Ghostbusting 2.0

Been sitting on this for a while… and well, here’s my five cents on the matter.

So let me preface this by saying that as far as the first two Ghostbusters films are concerned, I kinda like ’em. They’re not films that I would hold on any high pedestal like most older folks would, but they’re funny films, they’re quotable, they’ve got memorable moments and characters, they’re well made films with some wonderful visual effects, all the usual buzzwords you’d associate with much beloved classics of the era. And of course, there’s the timeless catchy wonderfully 80s theme song by the legendary Ray Parker Jr. Suffice it to say, Ghostbusters is a cherished franchise by those who grew up during its prime years, some clearly more devoted than others.

Yeah, About That Rousey Fight…

Was it truly a shock that she lost? Not really; it was bound to happen sooner or later… though I would’ve expected it to be later. But was it as big of a deal as everyone made it out to be? Again, not really. Ronda got humbled the old-country way. And when the eventual rematch comes around, it’ll probably be treated as a big deal and you’ll see if Ronda can get her win back or just get another beating.

As for me… well, no fucks were given the day Ronda Rousey lost… I was too busy playing TIE Fighter to care.

That Crazy Woman Even Chef Ramsay Couldn’t Help Finally Shuts Its Doors.

You may recall a couple years ago an episode of the U.S. edition of Kitchen Nightmares where Gordon Ramsay visited Amy’s Baking Company, an actual restaurant run by a crazy couple who wouldn’t listen to reason and would attack anyone with the slightest hint of negativity levied towards them. It doesn’t help that one side of the couple, Amy, is so batshit insane and out of her mind that she turns the clock on feminism back five hundred years and disproved the age-old, antiquated, and sexist adage that “women should stay in the kitchen.”

Well, after all the bad press, that restaurant has finally shut its doors and good riddance.

Unfortunately, Amy continues to run her mouth and spew her venom at anyone who cares.

Oh well… couldn’t happen to nicer people.

But on the bright side, maybe Amy could apply for a job at WWE.

After all, we’ve got a #LOLDivasRevolution to sink.
