VIDEO COMMENTARY #58 – Rewatching My Old Star Wars GBA Reviews (DTM House Show)

Something came up, so today’s “scheduled” programming has been postponed. In its place, I’ve put together four old reviews on four old Star Wars games on the GBA ahead of my revisiting these games this week. I even talk a bit, but that’s about it. Don’t expect quality; these things haven’t aged well, but provide a contrast to the upcoming stock.

VIDEO COMMENTARY Special 01 – Spider-Man 2600 Reviews from Angry Video Game Nerd and Classic Game Room

2021 Update
Never before released commentary video in which I compare two reviews on Spider-Man for the 2600; one featuring the Angry Video Game Nerd and another from Classic Game Room. Due to Content ID claims, this one has been uploaded to the Dailymotion page.

VIDEO COMMENTARY #12 – 1UP Gamer's Gremlin and Teaser Video

A “frankenstein” commentary with different bits recorded at different times. This is mainly a commentary on 1UP Gamer’s Gremlins 2 (NES) review, but also touches on the preview video for his latest Spy Vs Spy 2 review… which is actually pretty decent. Both videos (without my rambling) can be reached below in the following links. Check them out; they’re actually pretty decent.

Gremlins 2 review (main commentary subject) can be found here.

VIDEO COMMENTARY #11 – Suburban Knights Trailer Commentary

2021 Update

Commentary and thoughts on the trailer for the That Guy With The Glasses/Channel Awesome web series, Suburban Knights. For some reason, this got quite a bit of heat from a few TGWTG faithful, as did the following reaction videos. Don’t ask about said videos; they’ve been lost to the anal bleedings of time.

VIDEO COMMENTARY #10 – 1Up Gamer's Back To The "Futer" Review

2021 Update
Original upload date: April 29th, 2011 and May ??. 2011
Commentary on short-lived reviewer 1UPGamer’s Back To The Future… er, I mean, “FUTER” NES review. Originally uploaded in two parts since the review itself was a 2-part video, this is the “extended” edition uploaded one year later that merges both parts together.

VIDEO COMMENTARY #07 – Riker Shills Something (Boole & Babbage "Trek Vision" Commercial)

2021 Update:
Software company Boole & Babbage commissioned a short commercial for their product which featured Jonathan Frakes in his role as Commander William T. Riker of Star Trek: The Next Generation talking to some poor fellow dealing with some stuff. It was a weird thing that garnered some reactions, including the above commentary track.
If you’re interested in more details behind the making of this commercial and how it came to be, Trekcore actually had an interview with one of the marketing people there in 2013, which you can check out with the following link. It’s an interesting read.
Inside Boole & Babbage’s Trek Vision:
The commercial, sans my verbiage, can be seen below:
