A couple days needed to finalize some of the hard details for the month before we begin, but needless to say, the final stretch of 2025 will feature… well, more of the same stuff you’ve seen in November.
VIDEO UPDATE
For those who missed the stealth update of sorts in the last-minute House Show pre-tape last weekend, video uploads will temporarily scale back to a 2-review-per-week schedule, seeing postings every Tuesday and Friday. Sadly, those miffed with Atari stuff this past month will have more of it to come before the Christmas week hits and we finish off the month with the Dominus games. Extra Bits will be on hold until 2026 or until the Flashback 2 SGT is eventually uploaded, but I’m currently working on getting that set-up for regular uploads down the road.
I’ll have a more formal schedule for the Christmas week, but needless to say, I’m hoping to finish off the Gimmick Tables before the year’s end (which should give us enough to hit 50 of the bloody things). I’m also planning on a couple more pre-taped House Shows as well as a possible live stream. There’s even a DTM Ramble or two in the works. My main focus is getting these last batch of reviews done so that work can start on the first batch of 2026 reviews.
Meanwhile, I’m also working on updating the 2011 reviews. I may also consider working my way backwards from 500. We’ll see how this goes.
PPV MUSINGS
Other than the Survivor Series pop up on Monday, there are no planned PPV Musings this month, but the WCW Nitro musings ill continue. Again, still on the fence as to whether I want to do the Oil Rumble, but that’s for later down the road. However, should it come to pass that I decide not to give the latest WWE Blood Money live event a watch, I’ve got a couple WCW PPV musings in the work that I can toss on there. But again, that’s for next year. Right now, it’s slim pickings.
OTHER NOTES
This month will see the blog hit 6,000 published posts, which includes all the legacy stuff restored from previous webstations and blogs. Granted, there’s still a lot of material behind the scenes to bring up to speed, but the fact that we’re ending the year with over six thousand pieces of published material is quite astounding. It almost makes me want to bring back the post numbers from the Blogger days again… almost.
Nothing else to note… I’ll see about doing some light maintenance behind the scenes. Possibly rework the menu again and perhaps doing some proper pages for the major items on screen. There’s also an attempt at building a proper plan for the continued restoration of legacy content for the next several months. We’ll see if that comes to fruition, but the odds are pretty good that January will see some slight uptick in material being restored.
