Review #1239 – Fight For Life (Jaguar)

Oh boy… this was painful. And on a sidenote, I do want to issue an apology in advance. I normally want to get the best possible gameplay for a game and considered using the hidden feature that let the CPU play itself, but realized it would be a bit of a fib when it could play the game better than any human player with gimped controls ever could, so you get this paltry effort.

Yeah, regardless of its final state, it was a product that Atari tried to sell to people and later put on a compilation disc for consumption. Therefore, it’s going to be treated as such. Even if I got a free copy, I’d still want my money back.

Review #1238 – Club Drive (Atari Jaguar)

The Atari Jaguar strikes again! Does anyone have any rights to games for this system that are the drizzling shits?!

Good thing this isn’t one of those… or is it? Club Drive is often touted as one of the worst racers ever made and I suppose you could say that as a racer, but as a toy box of sorts… this is one of those instances where I was expecting the worst and came out the other end quite satisfied. Don’t get me wrong; Club Drive isn’t a good game per se, but it isn’t a total dumpster fire… just a partial one.

The next one coming up on Friday, though? That’s the real tragedy.
