WCW Hog Wild 1996

So we’re going to do something special this month?

Yes, I’ve already did musings on all these shows. Hell, I did musings for both this and Road Wild ’97 roughly THREE YEARS AGO and honestly, there’s not much that I could add in terms of context. However, I haven’t seen Road Wild 98 (the one with Jay “Big Jaw” Leno) in a decade and Road Wild 99 was last touched on in 2018… so I figured, why not give these things another watch with a fresh set of eyes.

So yes, the first event was called Hog Wild, but licensing concerns with the Harley Davison group prompted the next event to be called Road Wild. I would be remiss if I didn’t mention the poster/VHS cover for this show, which prominently featured a red-and-yellow clad Hulkster flexing on his bike – something that would be a stark contrast to how Hogan would appear in this show.

Canada Hunt (Wii) – 2012 B-Roll Footage

To “celebrate” Canada Day this year, I present to you all of my B-roll footage of the horrible hunting game that bares this nation’s name: Canada Hunt. This video showcases the Wii version; there is also a PC version. This footage was originally recorded in 2012, which is when I reviewed both versions of Canada Hunt. The PC version was the subject of my 100th video review.

On a side note, I’ve updated the old reviews of this game (on both PC and Wii) with new edits and replaced the embeds. You can check those out by clicking below.

Legend Or Rehash – Some Thoughts On Karate Kid: Legends

Karate Kid: Legends is a movie that came out of nowhere.

Not necessarily in the sense that nobody saw it coming because we’ve already had a couple trailers for it and I’ve even commented on the film a couple times… but rather in the sense that a couple weeks ago, a buddy invited me to join them and some pals to watch the new Karate Kid movie and my immediate reaction was “What new Karate Kid movie?”

Yes, despite having made a mention of this thing once or twice on this blog, the news that this movie was out in theaters threw me by surprise. Regardless, though, I said sure. They were kind enough to pay for all the tickets while I offered some drinks from the concessions which may have cost more than the tickets, but I digress. So after having seen this movie, what were my initial impressions of Karate Kid Legends?

Fun With Sonic The Hedgehog 2 (Genesis) – Special Stages

A video showcasing all seven special stages in Sonic 2. Just the special stages and my successful completion of said special stages… for whatever that’s worth these days, let’s be honest. Not bad for something made from a space age polymer plastic for years of family fun.

Though, my pet didn’t love it too.

This is the Genesis/Mega Drive version, not the nicer, smoother mobile version or the subsequent Sonic Origins version. One of these days, we’ll get to those for giggles, but not anytime soon.

Review #1200 – Sonic The Hedgehog 2 (Genesis)

Yes, it took us five hundred and eighteen reviews to get to Sonic 2. By this point, we might cover Sonic 3 in six years.

Also, I considered making this a mystery review and not reveal the game outright, but people these days are genuinely stupid and would accuse me of clickbait… to which I say it’s only bait if you took it.
