Cinemassacre's Top 50 Shitty Shark Movies

James Rolfe made a Top 40-ish Shitty Shark Movie video ages ago and he uploaded this one a couple years ago, which has been expanded to 50. Surprisingly, Sharknado does not dominate this fucking list. Besides that, I am amazed that he only  bumped the old list up to 50 because there are plenty more bad shark movies. Maybe in another five years, eh?
Honestly, I’m more disappointed that Rolfe didn’t upload his Top 10 Shark Movies video, which is worth watching if you can find. I don’t know if you can. It might still be on his website. I assume it still works. Right?

Teasing The Rise Of Hamill

In case anyone remotely cares… it’s the teaser trailer for the next and final chapter in the much-maligned sequel trilogy of thrown-together feature films with no cohesive thought behind it whatsoever.

I won’t say much here – I’ll save my thoughts for tomorrow’s DTM-Cast episode. The only thing I will say that after the time wasted on The Last Jedi and the less than enthusiastic impressions of Solo, my reaction is simply… meh. For what it’s worth, there’s a good chance I’ll probably watch it with my older bro, but in terms of excitement, optimism, or anything resembling an emotional response or the slightest hint of interest… meh.

Oh well… let it play out and see where it goes, I suppose.

My Reaction To A New Doom Movie Coming Out

You know… I had this Ramble video planned out and the audio recorded… but because it’s a video game movie starring a female protagonist… and apparently, played by one of those tiny actresses and not one with a more imposing physique so as to not completely obliterate my suspension of disbelief… but I guess getting an actual badass MMA woman was out of the movie budget… sorry, I’m going off on a tangent, am I?

Listen, if anything, I’ll include the audio onto the next DTM-Cast, but as far as the movie goes… anyone remember the last video game movie that had “annihilation” in its title?

About That Battle For The Grid Game…

Yeah, JDF on the thumbnail doesn’t instill much hope.

But yeah, from the Legacy War mobile phone game folks comes another fighting that is most definitely NOT Legacy Wars. None of that rock-paper-scissors nonsense; just straight-up “accessible” fighting game mechanics… whatever that entails.

So another Power Rangers fighting game, huh? I’m cool with that, actually. Let’s hope it turns out good, but considering the track record of recent games in the franchise, I’m keeping my expectations firmly on the ground.

Rerez. Tallarico. Intellivision. No Plimpton.

So the folks at Rerez did an interview with longtime video game composer, Electric Playground co-host, Video Games Live guy, and current Intellivision head honcho Tommy Tallarico to discuss Intellivision’s upcoming Amico console that’s due to be released in the year 2020. It’s a rather good interview that covers most of the bases and concerns that some might have regarding the console. Hence, why I opted to post it here on this blog.

I’ll provide my own thoughts and feelings on the project somewhere down the line, but the interview got me intrigued enough to follow its progress. In short, these guys seem to know what they’re doing and that’s a good sign to any product’s success and longevity.
