VIDEO – No Bouyah For Ashens…

So famed self-proclaimed “idiot in a suit” Dr. Ashen got his hands on an Ouya… After watching this vid, I think I might be saving myself a hundred bucks as a result… or at least furthered the possibility of spending it on the other Android-based machine that I’ve been considering. Anyway, here’s the video for those wanting to check it out.

Apparently Vince stole Shredder’s shrink ray to steal the Statue of Liberty for Wrestlemania…

Of course, I wouldn’t have known any of these if Vince hadn’t announced it so bombastically.

Set looks nice, but where’s DDP in this? He’s a Jersey boy, too.

Remember When Macho Man Was A Rapper?

And, yes. “Macho Man” Randy Savage actually had a rap CD out a few years back… and it’s yards better than John Cena’s crap.

No, really. Taking out the whole diss factor from the equation, this is really catchy stuff. Whoever has the rights to the album should really consider re-releasing this for purchase. It might even be good incentive to get people to sign that petition to create a holiday for the Macho Man.

CM Punk and Tom Dotterer

2024 Update
A few days prior, Syracuse shop-owner Tom Dotterer – 77 – was shot in the face during a robbery at his store. As bad as that was, Tom had said in an interview that the worst thing to happen that week was CM Punk losing the WWE Championship to Rock The John Dwayneson at the Royal Rumble PPV. That interview has since been scrubbed from the Internet and that’s a shame because it showed a good humor to a guy who was shot IN THE EYE during a robbery to say that LOSING AN EYE didn’t ruin his week, it was Rock beating Punk for the title. Major props to Thomas Dotterer, who was shot in the eye and despite the grave implications, blames the Rock beating CM Punk for ruining his week. That guy is an inspiration to us all.

Which brings us to today’s clip, taken from the Abe Kanan radio show which featured Tom Dotterer as a guest and also a surprise call from one Cookie Monster Punk, showing the world that he can be a nice guy, after all.

Not Another One Of These Stupid Things…

Yes, apparently this is supposed to be a fan creation of a re-imagined grim and gritty MMPR flick… god, shoot me.

This much I will give them; it looks nice and the cinematography is pretty good for a grim and gritty picture. But the voiceover is kinda crap; it’s supposed to sound menacing, but instead sound like somebody has a sore throat or something. But perhaps the most disenchanting thing about this is that, outside of the staff, there is nothing distinctly Power Rangers about this. No costumes, no robots, not even a fight or two. At least the other “grim and gritty” clip from a couple weeks back had Rangers fighting; this doesn’t even tease that.

This one’s probably not for me. I guess I’ll stick with my brand-spanking new DVDs.
