RAW Flap Ninja 2600 Footage

People tell me they want FUCKING RAW gameplay footage of stuff I review… well, here’s some sample footage – posted as is – of a 2600 homebrew game that I sampled recently… and paid money for… and it’s based on… Flappy Birds…

And I thought this sort of thing being on Vectrex was bad…

Review coming on Friday… may it be more enjoyable to you than it was me…

Mega Man 2 (MSI Plug N Play) – Aborted Run

Recently did some cleaning and found this MSI Mega Man 2 Plug-N-Play unit that was featured on the main channel years ago; one of the early Sunday Gimmick Table entries. Amazingly, it had batteries still and I gave it a go. Spoiler alert: it does not end well because the stick does not play well. But I went far enough that you can notice some graphical glitches towards the end as a result of whatever hackery was done. Maybe some day, I’ll give this another shot.

This is a DVD Rip, so some frames are missing… and yes, it’s not a good run… because the thing you play it on isn’t very good, but it does work… with the same batteries that I plugged in years ago.

For those interested, one of the early Sunday Gimmick Table videos featured this piece of business. You can check it out by clicking here.

BPS Tetris (Famicom) Longplay

Today’s regularly scheduled video upload has been delayed for tomorrow due to last minute fixes. Instead, here’s an old longplay of BPS Tetris for Famicom. If you fancy THREE HOURS of very old-school Tetris gameplay (and not even fairly good gameplay if we’re being honest here – there’s a couple times where nothing is happening because I’m too busy tending to the dog, which you won’t see), then this is the vid for you. Otherwise, see you all tomorrow for Pac-In-Time.

Fun With Sonic The Hedgehog 2 (Genesis) – Special Stages

A video showcasing all seven special stages in Sonic 2. Just the special stages and my successful completion of said special stages… for whatever that’s worth these days, let’s be honest. Not bad for something made from a space age polymer plastic for years of family fun.

Though, my pet didn’t love it too.

This is the Genesis/Mega Drive version, not the nicer, smoother mobile version or the subsequent Sonic Origins version. One of these days, we’ll get to those for giggles, but not anytime soon.

Tetris (MS-DOS) (AcademySoft) – V3.12 Phantom Mode Gameplay

AcademySoft updated their MS-DOS port of Tetris to v3.12, which included a proper menu as well as a play mode called Phantom Mode, which renders all square blocks invisible. The results are interesting; here’s a sample for your weakly offering.

Potential review fodder for the future. Just saying.

Street Racer: Tokyo Rush (Switch) – Glitch And Relative Blight In Time Continuum, Hon

Cheap-o Switch eSlop release Street Racer: Tokyo Rush was the subject of a video review over at the main channel last year. There was a bit near the end where I somehow glitched my way through time and space. I present the edited clip at the end of said review, along with the raw, unedited footage that isn’t all that different from what was there, but it pads out the video so that it seems more important than it actually is…

The original review can be seen here.
