RAW Numbers Are Low

“How the fuck is Roman Reigns
Superstar Of The Year
When He’s Been Hurt for Half of It?”
-Anonymous WWE Fan

From today’s WON update:
http://www.f4wonline.com/more/more-top-stories/96-wwe-news/40371-raw-falls-near-record-low

“Raw did 3.51 million viewers last night, the lowest rating for the show since a Christmas Eve show in 2012. It was the lowest non-holiday audience for Raw since December 3, 2012, a show that did 3.43 million viewers, and one of the lowest rated non-holiday episodes since 1997.”

Anyone still want to argue that a vacationing Brock Lesnar as WWE World Champion is best for business? Because I think the above just proved otherwise.

Part of me is suddenly rooting for a 16th John Cena World title reign.

CM Lee Tells All

Former WWE Superstar and current Marvel Comics scribe CM Lee (see what I did there?) went on Colt Cabana’s Art Of Wrestling podcast and tells all… for those who want to know the whys, here’s a page that spells it out in text. Now aren’t you happy that you’re getting a CM Lee headline that doesn’t involve him going to the bathroom or taking a dump?

Or, if you prefer, you can listen to the podcast itself.

Regarding Last Night's Survivor Series…

I’ve got further thoughts on the show that I just recorded for the audio project this coming Monday, but for the most part, a forgettable show that was highlighted by Dolph Ziggler’s show-stealing performance towards the final moments of the main event along with the long-awaited arrival of the man they call STING to a WWE event.

All in all… meh.

A Bidding War Over Brock Lesnar? WWE Should Save Their Money…

From this page:
http://www.wrestlenewz.com/wwe-news/report-ufc-wwe-battling-signing-brock-lesnar/

The post above talks about the bidding war over Brock Lesnar’s services and the heading of this blog post clearly spells out my opinion on the matter. Once Brock drops the strap at ‘Mania 31, exactly what is WWE hoping to accomplish by dragging him out for another year’s worth of non-appearances? I’m wondering how Brock’s non-appearances as WWE champion is working out, because the subscriber count on the WWE Network didn’t see a sizable increase. They’re spending a ton of money on this guy and he’s not even worth it.

The Brock Lesnar shine has long since dulled. Let him do his remaining appearances and then let him sign with someone else for a change and get crippled there or something. Because I doubt there’s going to be a special “Don’t hit Brock in the bowels” ruling when he returns to MMA.

TNA Signs New TV Deal With… Who?

Original source: http://rajah.com/node/44309

So TNA got a new deal with Destination America, a channel that I’ve never heard and chances are, neither has anyone else. I would wonder about how this would pertain to viewing TNA programming in Canada, but since I don’t watch TNA these days… actually, I’m wondering how this is a good thing to anything other than TNA guaranteed to survive a little longer than a year or two. Regardless, best of luck to TNA and all involved in their new venture.
