Some quick experimenting with brushes, glowing bits, and stamps. Perhaps not the best thing going, but it’s an experiment of sorts. You somewhat see trees and stuff… it’s something, I guess.

Autodesk Sketchbook #24 – Finger Painting
Drawn using my finger, which turned out to be a less than stellar experience, but the general idea is there. I do need to find my proper stylus, because I don’t think the finger serves as a precise drawing tool or anything of the sort.
Autodesk Sketchbook #23 – The Scenic Route
Another “scenic” doodle with clouds, fog, and a blue substance that’s supposed to depict a river of some sort. That last bit was a last minute decision and it definitely shows.
Autodesk Sketchbook #22 – Wormhole
I think I’ve done a wormhole-like doodle before, but this time around, it’s a different style of sorts.
Autodesk Sketchbook #21 – Light At The End
Or it could be a flame in the dark… I don’t know. You could go either way.
AutoDesk Sketchbook #20 – Starship Nightmares
Autodesk Sketchbook #19 – ‘Gate And ‘Mid
Something to tide you over…
Autodesk Sketchbook #18 – Horizon
Sunset. See. Sploshun. Lightening.
Lots of playing with stuff.
Autodesk Sketchbook #17 – Torch
More experimenting with brushes and stuff.
By the way, would anyone object if I skipped Dark Legend tonight and get the Bionic Commando review planned for tomorrow ready? It’s one less video this week, but it’ll be more packed next week.
Autodesk Sketchbook #16 – Planet Baldie
Brushes are used to create the star and nebulae, while an actual bald head is used for the planetery object below with some “cloud” effects painted on for good measure. I’d imagine the whole thing would look slightly nicer without the doodled space object, but alas… it is what it is.
