Classic Bite Commentary #25 – February 23rd, 2003

Hey kids. Tonight is the WWE’s pay-per-view live from Montreal. That’s right. There’s a WWE pay-per-view event in my backyard for the first time since Survivor Series 97. It isn’t the first televised event that I’m not attending. However, it IS the first time that such a scenario doesn’t bother me.

Classic Bite Commentary #22 – January 8th, 2003

A new year falls upon us… okay, that could have been said seven days ago, but so what? The first Bite of 2003 is gonna be longer than the rest of the pack. In fact, it could very well be the longest piece I have written.

NOTE: This happens to be posted a day late, so any comments written in bold italics are last-minute additions.

Since we’re in the year 2003, I thought I should take a look back at the year that was 2002. As I type this, I mentally, as well as physically, smack myself in the head thinking this kind of thing should have been done on the last Bite, but so what?

Classic Bite Commentary #21 – December 3rd, 2002

Hey kids. The past few days has been uneventful to say the least. Yeah, I know. The past few commentaries haven’t been particularly long (and the Jar-Jar thing was absolutely pathetic). Since NS is only going to air in February and since I’m keeping any wrestling-related comments to a minimum, there’s not much material for me to use anyway. However, there are some stuff I want to get off my chest and some stuff;

(2015 Dave Says: The “Jar-Jar thing” refers to a period of time when I had used an external gimmick to re-transcribe my website into Jar-Jar speak. In essence, every page would appear as though it was written by Jar Jar. There was even a commentary written in this form, though without said gimmick, the commentary was pretty worthless. It was a rather lousy gimmick that probably would’ve worked better as an April Fools gag, but then again, maybe not.)

Classic Bite Commentary #20 – November 21st, 2002

Good morning, boys and girls. This week was lots of fun for me thanks to our ever-diligent Montreal weather. If you are reading the commentary because of the “special announcement,” mentioned on the front page, let’s get on with it, shall we?

Classic Bite Commentary #18 – October 31st, 2002

(2014 Update: The following post originally featured Hulk Hogan inadvertently gave away spoilers for taped editions of Impact Wrestling. The video in question has since been removed, so in its place, I posted another Bite commentary, along with a couple additional bits that were posted days later, but weren’t long enough to merit their own individual posts. As per the case, any modern reflections is added in bold.)

Happy Halloween. Have fun with your trick-or-treating. Now to my juicy rants:

Classic Bite Commentaries #16 – October 22nd, 2002

In honor of Kane’s triumphant victory over Triple H at No Mercy, I have decided to be paint the site red… What’s that? You see no red? Well, that’s because Kane lost on Sunday. Damn Triple H for being Vince’s boy. It is said that when guys reach the top of the wrestling world, they get lazy. But not Triple H, oh no sirree! He busts his way to the top, date the boss’ daughter and THEN gets lazy…
Let me tell you something; I am glad that WWE is pushing their World champions to have long healthy reigns. Unfortunately, one of those champs happens to be a guy who has hogged the spotlight long enough and I am not talking about Brock Lesnar. I am talking about a man whose name consists of three letters.
I’m going to start this commentary off officially with a brief recap of matches that I predicted. The comments in brackets are the actual results, so let’s start this off:
