Some quick notes regarding Post 1000

Long-term visitors to the original DTM Blog (both of you) will recall the way I approached that blog’s 1000th post; by bragging about purchases and making half-hearted thanks. Well, this time, it’s going to be different… well, almost. It’s still largely half-hearted, but it won’t be just mindless text.

So what I’ve done is put together a quick compilation video of some stuff. A couple new bits aside (including a blog reading or two as well as three new game reviews from the back lot), this video will also contains a couple recycled random videos from the YouTube page. So this is more of a “best of” compilation if nothing else… one that clocks around forty minutes. Don’t know how many folks are going to stick around for that long, but if you do, you have my thanks!
Right now, I’m aiming for this thing to go live tomorrow… depending on whether the Internet will allow such an upload. One way or another, I intend on this thing going up before Monday.
I WILL NOT BE DENIED THIS ONE GOAL!

Discovering Old Stuff

What little time I have at home during the week is spent rebuilding archives. I’ve done most of the old reviews (only a couple need be rebuilt altogether) and I’m halfway through the commentaries. However, I did come across some old files. One’s an old commentary that was never released (but will be now), and the other’s a set of videos that I never recorded any solid commentary. If nothing else, it’ll add to some reserve videos in the back catalogue of videos for future updates.

In-FAQ?

A couple folks who claim to have been followers of the old DTM Webstation website I used to do (I find that alone highly suspect, but I digress) have been wondering if there was any chance I was going to bring back the InFrequently Asked Questions page…

I honestly have no idea… it might not be a bad idea… but I have no idea… we’ll see.

A little over a year into this new blog and I’m liking what I’ve been able to do thus far. Especially in terms of making videos down the road, it’s a lot more flexible than what I’ve been using in the past and I can appreciate that. In regards to the video front, I guess it’s safe to say that more is coming. I’m starting to get the hang of this Vegas software that a friend managed to get me and I certainly appreciate most comments coming along the way… while others… well, such is the nature of the beast.

FIRST… of a whole new blog (First Blogger Post)

(2019 Edit: For those curious, this was the first post to the old Blogger site that is preserved for archival purposes.)

Many welcomes to those who find their idle ways here. There has to be a fairly good reason behind my emerging from the dark shadows of insipidness or something to that extent and the reason so far has eluded me. May it emerge somewhere someday.

All seriousness aside, I would like to welcome you to my new blog. What can you expect from this blog? Well, you did read the title, didn’t you? A whole lot of random stuff, ramblings, and all in all, generally uninteresting stuff.

If you’re wondering a bit about me, I’ll fill out my profile soon enough (I just opened this up yesterday) and will add more details about this blog and what to expect. In any case, I hope that whoever comes by is somewhat entertained (or disdained) by what is eventually featured here and sticks around long enough to follow my hapless adventures in… stuff.

So, in any case, here’s to a new blogging experience… that ends up better than my last.

(As a bonus, here’s the post on the older blog announcing the move that was originally intended as a side-by-side thing before things fell apart on that front.)

I started a new affair yesterday during a dry period.

And with that, I’m “proud” to introduce the new DTM’s Blog of Randomness, which is my all-new, leaner blog at Blogspot. Unofficially, it’s called DTM Blog II: The Wrath of Crohn, but decided with the much happier, more ambiguous Blog of Randomness! Hooray!

What does this mean for DTM Blog?

Absolutely nothing, because there’s no rule saying I can’t have more than one blog.

But that doesn’t answer my question, asshack!

Watch your mouth, boy! All will be explained in the coming weeks.

I’m new to this web making thing and I’d like to share some thoughts to anyone who wants to read them.
