PPV Predictions – WWE No Mercy 2002
2012 Update: One of the problems with these old PPV predictions, especially the 2002-2003 ones, is the lack of a consistent format. So I’m left having to redo all the formatting so that it somewhat matches up with the current stock.
This is going to be posted as is with little input from me today. Quite frankly, I barely recall the show and I don’t have a copy available to watch. Frankly, if I had, I’d probably redo this whole form from scratch… but since I don’t, you get to enjoy this horrible text. So other than minor format tweaks and minor edits, this is all from 2002. Enjoy.
Classic Bite Commentaries #15 – October 12th, 2002
(2024 Update: For the first time in a long time, I present the October 12th, 2002 edition of the Classic Bite Commentary. For some reason, the original post that labeled this as October 12th was just a copy of the October 2nd commentary and this was a thing for years. That’s been rectified now and you’ve got the actual commentary… which is something a bit different.)
Hey, kids. Not much to say today… just want to complain about some largely bad wrestling.

My Conversation With A Man Who Klings On His Honor
Last year, I wrote a fake interview with Superman, who turned out to be a different take from the usual Superman take. No one bit on it and for good reason… well, here we are again with another fictional conversation of sorts… and today’s guest would say that his kind never do these sorts of things… but then again, he’ll say that about a lot of things that he wouldn’t want to do.
There are good Klingons and there are bad Klingons. Good Klingons have high regard for honor. Bad Klingons don’t. Good Klingons are fighters who are willing to die. Bad Klingons are cowards and don’t want to risk their lives for common fights.
And then there’s Worf.
Worf can’t be classified as either a good Klingon or a bad Klingon. In fact, he can’t even be considered the Starfleet Klingon because then you’d have to neglect B’Elanna Torres of Voyager (never mind the fact she’s only half Klingon – it still counts!) So how does one describe Worf?
Well, Worf is a pretty unexcited fellow. He claims Klingons do not laugh, and soon he discovered that Klingons not only laugh, but they go targ-hunting, eat worms, and kill people purely for entertainment sakes. Worf eventually became an ambassador, but that job didn’t last long and was soon an officer with a small role in Nemesis. Worf, now on leave after killing more imaginary cowboys in the holodeck, has decided to grace his presence and grant me some (fake) interview time.
The results are as follows… and was hidden from view for years for a very good reason, I’m afraid…

PPV Predictions – WWE Unforgiven 2002
Unforgiven 2002… quite honestly, I don’t remember too much about this one, outside of what I can recall and recount from when I wrote the original predictions sheet back in 2002. But the show itself was a total blank for me. It might have been a decent show, all things considered, but not a memorable one, I suppose. Oh well.
Classic Bite Commentary #13 – September 19th, 2002
Hey folks, how’s it going? Today, I’m only going to touch up on a couple of things and add brief snippets for everything else. Yeah, it’s a short one today.

Classic Bite Commentary #12 – September 13th, 2002
Hey folks, how’s it going? Yes, this is the second Bite commentary update of the week, right here on Friday The 13th… you know what that means? Superstition aside, you’re guaranteed bad luck for the rest of your life if you claim Jason X is the best of the Jason movies… quite frankly, I think Jason X is a series in itself and not particularly related to the “classic” Friday movies… on the other hand, Jason Goes To Hell: The Final Friday was pretty crappy as well.

Classic Bite Commentary #11 – September 10th, 2002
Greetings friends. Things were rather hectic again here at home which prevented me from posting a new commentary, so I’m sorry and thanks for your patience. This was supposed to be up on the first of September, so stuff added on that day is here. Then we move on to the current comments. So there, two days for the price of one!

MOVIE REVIEW – Space Jam (1996)
Space Jam was a movie I saw in an empty theater with my brother and someone else. It was one of the first times I’ve been to a movie that has (almost) no one in it. That kind of memory sticks out more than the movie itself.
But as far as the movie goes… I thought it was alright.
Story goes that the Looney Tunes characters are being challenged by alien basketball players who want to beat the past out of the ‘toons, so they enlist the help of one Michael Jordan, who was in the middle of a baseball career in between stints in the basketball court. The movie is done in the same way as Who Framed Roger Rabbit, where Michael Jordan himself would mingle with the ‘Tunes in their hand-drawn cartoon world and eventually vice versa would happen. Obviously, years of technological advancement has made the technique a bit more seamless than before, but it’s not the only film to pull it off. The whole thing looks fine as a result. The animation is pretty smooth, the voice acting is true to the characters, and Michael Jordan… well, he’s Michael Jordan and he does Michael Jordan better than anyone else… even Michael Jordan.
Space Jam turned out to be a pretty enjoyable film and Bill Murray even shows up to share some of his comedic magic… because you sure as shit ain’t gettin’ it from ol’ MJ. Still, fun for the whole family and all that. Well worth a revisit these days.
