Okay, so this is the go-home show for Rebellion… a show that already happened, but most people probably forgot about because there was also an AEW PPV. I have watched neither show, but do plan on watching the Rebellion show this week.
Hammerstone beats up Little Guido – yes, Little Guido is still around and he has a new version of the FBI with a couple new supposed Italian guys… and then Josh Alexander comes out for the save, even though he isn’t Italian… or is he? I don’t know…
Joe Hendry beats some guy fast to build his feud against Francis/Swann, Mustafa Ali and the Grizzled Young Vets defeated Rhino, Deaner, and Something in a perfectly acceptable tag-team match, Eric Young cuts a creepy promo to promote his upcoming match with Kazarian, which is a Full Metal Mayhem match. Excellent. And the Gunns fail to regain the tag titles from the System, possibly teasing dissention among the longtime teammates… well, if you want to make that match happen… sure, why not?
Well, it’s the go-home show for an upcoming PPV event designed to hard sell you on the PPV event if you haven’t already made your purchase of the event. Obviously, it didn’t sell me on the live airing, but I’m intrigued enough to catch the replay… and yes, I understand the mild humor in picking a TNA PPV over an AEW one. What can I say? TNA is putting out the more consistent product that I’m actually enjoying more of these days.
