Death Star Versus Borg

One of many Death Star Vs. Borg Cube scenarios written out… this one is somewhat plausible… or not.

Disclaimer: Disney owns Star Wars. Paramount/CBS owns Star Trek. I own nothing.

A Borg cube enters its transwarp hub and suffered a malfunction that caused the cube to fall off course. The cube eventually emerged out of transwarp and appeared before a massive planetoid looking object. The planetoid was the size of a small moon and featured many towers and turrets on its surface. The Borg studied this object and determined that it was not a stellar body, but rather a space station, ripe for assimilation.

On board the Death Star, one of the commanders informed the Grand Moff of the unidentified object that appeared just on the edge of firing range. The Grand Moff ordered a visual, which presented a strange looking cube. Almost instantly, the comm signal blared loudly and a dark, ominous voice echoed through the halls.

“We are the Borg. Resistance is futile.”

The Grand Moff’s brow furrowed before he let out a slightly agitated scoff. He then gave the order to fire on the alien cube, which began emitting several green beams towards the station. With final confirmation, the Death Star’s primary superlaser roared through the empty space and obliterated the cube instantly. Whatever the cube’s intent with its beams would never be known.

The Grand Moff then ordered the resumption of normal operations before he returned to his chambers to report on the incident.
