After Sunday’s TNA Hardcore Justice pay-per-view, Bill Goldberg re-tweeted a message from a fan: “Sorry Crimson, a spear w/out a Jackhammer just sucks.”
Crimson seemed to take the re-tweet personal: “@Goldberg while you were gettin stretched by Chris Jericho I was dodging bullets for this country… #whosnextnotme #destroyinglives”
Goldberg responded to that: “Who are you again????”
Of course, it should be noted that that last blurb is more due to Goldberg’s ignorance of new talent (not insulting the guy, he honestly didn’t know and even said so himself after a fan had pointed out who Crimson was) rather than any sort of jab at Crimson. I also doubt that the re-tweet itself is any kind of jab and just him reposting a fan’s comment that reminisces of Goldberg’s finisher, which was a spear followed by jackhammer.
Still, it’s a rather snappy (and humorous) comeback from the former WCW champion.
