RAW (Feb. 21, 2011) – 2-21-11 equals two senior citizens teasing a Bottle of Geritol On A Pole Match at Mania

As posted several days ago, on this very blog;

“Triple H has to be pissing himself right now. At this point, his potential big comeback to face off against Undertaker (also making the big comeback 2-21-11) with special ref Shawn Michaels means NOTHING. The reaction is basically going to be:

“‘Yeah, okay, those guys are coming back. That’s nice. Career vs. Streak, Inferno Death Match. Nice. Nice. But THE ROCK’S COMING BACK!!!!'”

I mean… seriously, who gives a shit at this point? They’re gonna have a match… so what? They had a match ten years ago, who cares? THE ROCK’S COMING BACK!

Oh, by the way, Cena’s return to Thuganomics in his comeback against the Rock? Oh boy. Judging from that comeback, the Brooklyn Brawler has a better grasp on Thuganomics than Barney’s turd does at this point.

Anyway, here’s some thoughts on the rest of the show;

– Look, I’ll be honest. Despite my snark, at least Cena TRIED to give a worthwhile promo that didn’t sound like crap. It wasn’t good and it was still amateur hour compared to last week… and if that was supposed to intimidate the Rock, then it failed miserably… but at least he TRIED.

– You know, I gotta feel for Sheamus; the guy went from being WWE Champion last year to being jobber to the stars… except he’s jobbing to Mark Henry. Something tells me the Celtic Warrior did something bad to piss someone off backstage. Oh well, maybe a potential feud with Daniel Bryan might spice things off… maybe.

– So Jerry Lawler challenges Michael Cole to a match at Wrestlemania, at which point Cole tosses something in Lawler’s face and runs away. You know what? I think Cole could take the King. Why not? If Jim Ross can get a win over Triple H…

– Can we retire the Tag-Team titles while they still have some semblance of dignity? It seems pretty clear that nobody gives a crap about the tag-team division (in either ‘brand’) and thus it’s pretty pointless to have them around… especially since you’re going to have THREE title changes within the past 48 hours… the last two taking placing litterally minutes apart from each other! In one of those extremely rare occasions, I have to admit that TNA does a better job of establishing a tag-team division than WWE does… and despite that positive outlook for TNA, that isn’t really saying much.

– Why do the Bella Twins still have jobs?

Overall, this was an okay show. Nothing special here… but that’s okay.

I’m going to bed. Later.

P.S. I’m sorry, but why do the Bella Twins still have jobs? I honestly want to know this…
